The greater debate

So i just saw the toilet paper debate and have another on.

When making a peanut butter and jelly do you

A) Put peanut butter on both sides of the bread
or
B) Peanut butter on one side of the bread

 

I choose both so that the jelly doesn't soak into the bread

I can honestly say that I have never given it any thought. But now that you bring it up I've been doing it wrong. I see now that both pieces of bread is the correct way but Jake wins hands down for the extra piece of bread in the middle. You my friend are a genius!!!!

Just one. I am a fan of pb, but ratio is important.

 

I do a thin layer on each side. Like half of one of those single serve containers per side

 

Triple decker is the only way, with jelly on both sides of center peice.

I rescind my prior post to pose the question:
On which side do you place the bacon?

 

It doesn't matter as long as its crunchy PB.

 

I use natural peanut butter and it is a bit thick so I spread it on one slice of bread, then wipe the remaining bit that's on the knife on the the other so that I do not "contaminate" the jelly jar as per the wife's request.

 

Amen to that! Like automatics, real mean use crunchy.

And who the hell lets the "samich" sit so long the jelly soaks the bread? Don't even tell me you pack it that way to carry in your superman lunch box.

 

I do pb on one side and jam on the other, and my girlfriend gives me shit ever single time.

 

What type of jellies you guys use? I like strawberry but can go grape. I think I'd like to try a peanut butter and apple butter sandwich though.
