    Looking like a June 5th retirement, pushed it back a few months. Still waffling about whether it's the right thing to do or not, leaning on retiring. Gut feeling says to get out now while I'm feeling good and enjoy myself. Money isn't everything. I'm actually headed to work right now, talk to you later.:wave:

    :thumbsup: Sometimes that's the best kind of trip - just disconnect from everything and rest.

    Its definitely a big decision to make and not one to jump into blindly.
    Dad wants to retire but is holding off a little bit longer - he'll be 63 in January - and with the union he doesn't have to retire right away he can just wait and see what work the union throws his way. Mom is already cutting back her work hours. I'm glad to see them in this stage. They're still able to get out and enjoy things. I expect to see very little of them next summer, they'll be camping the entire time I'm sure.

    My dad has told me he isn't sure exactly when he will retire, but that this past summer was the last summer he will be working. . . The 100 degree summers here have been getting harder and harder to do. So maybe the end of the year? Feb? April? It's close. And mom it sounds like will be following shortly thereafter.
