You will do just fine without sliders for 80% of the trails i was able to ride on safely.

There are some more difficult trails that sliders would be a plus. not needed, but a plus haha.

Price....DCSB? And while we're on the subject, is it possible to get sliders that extend further out more than normal(maybe an extra 4").....kinda like a step?

Sliders don't work well as steps since they are so close to the bottom of the door

like mine? with the kickout or you mean the main slider tube? mine stick out probably 3" or more from the tire where the kickout is but the main slider tube is in line with the tires.. I use the kickout as a step.. and cams are built like mine other than physical design but I made all my measurements the same as what I normally do other than the kickout and when the door is open there is plenty enough slider to step onto as a step.. What do you want in the slider.. a basic design with two bends or do you want a kickout? I myself as well as a few others would agree that kickouts, while ugly to some, save your ass a good bit as well as your bedside more times than not.. I hionestly wouldn't have a set that didn't have kickouts on them..

Here are mine.. being raptor lined which is also an option for a little more grip on top.. I don't put it on the bottom side since its just going to get scratched up anyway.. stuff is on my floorboards and now my second set of sliders and has held up well.. just an option though

Travis9287's from Alabama.. his show how much of a step there is when he has his tube doors on which would be the same if the stock door was open..

only downside to DC's is when you have the kickout the slider itself can only rest around a 10* angle

    and heres Blakes (higherlux)

Ive also done a few more and have a set of bolt ons to do soon as well as a couple rear bumpers with swingout tire carrier with hilift and jerry can mounts

Looks great Chad! You do a bumper/tire carrier combo too??!! Got pics? I really need a set up for a 35" spare but all the options I've seen are way out of my price range.....close to $2K. And then shipping is killer too.
