Yup, while she is "trying" to save while supporting a family of 3, what luxuries does she have and how many more will she accumulate while she is staying rent free and getting cozy.

She is going to end up with the house if things go wrong.
She is not even in there yet and already changing things in your yard..

Dude why not just have her live with her family because you are not responsible for her! But since you seem to want to go through with it: sell your truck, hand in your man card and get rid of your toys because she will want to take over your life and make your house hers! You pretty much just lost your house and any right to privacy.

I don't think you should just tell her you have changed your mind, you need to break it off altogether. I am telling you this will not end well, when her first thought is I'm going to put up a fence on a 3 acre lot, before moving in.

This is not okay, unless you have been telling her how bad you want a fence, and this is a gift for your generosity.

I realize it.. but it would also be saving me money.. she is going to split the power water and cable.. ( to me that equals more mod money) but I dunno if its worth it for either of us.. financially it makes sense but emotionally and psychologically just not sure

I just don't know how to smooth it over without it sounding like "GTFO I don't want to see you or your kids daily"

"To split the bills" is the absolute worst reason to move in with someone you're in a relationship with. Find a room mate if that is desired.

Why isn't it? Emotionally, yes it's hard, but if I had to choose between feeding my pet versus feeding myself and my kids, I'd get rid of the pet.

I know this may not necessarily be the case for her, but I've seen plenty of people do it. I gave up my horse to have more money for school. People have to make sacrifices.

But back on topic, it just sounds like to me she just wants to use you. How did you go about dating her? Did she just pop up out of the blue again?

And yes, with 2 kids in the house, you think your bills will get cheaper because you have more income? Where do you draw the line, in the pantry/fridge because I assure you will end up splitting groceries, now for 4.

Dude we are just trying to help you out. If it doesn't feel right then don't do it. Besides she has kids I am assuming you don't so why give up a lot of stuff for someone you have dated only a few months? Just tell her I don't feel right with it and if she doesn't understand you should tell its over.

x2, and aren't the bills going to be higher anyway with having all the extra people?
