2013 NCAA Football Thread

That is impressive, but I think it's as much a function of the conference as it is a result of Oregon.

The Pac12 has been largely a 2 team league: Oregon & USC/Stanford, depending on which of those two is good any given year. The best team in the league is guaranteed to make it to a BCS bowl, and the second best team is guaranteed any time the best team is in the NC. The second best can also go as an at-large, but I really don't know the rules about that.

Depends on how far back you look. Oregon is recent, Stanford was in the beginning of the BCS and is again now. USC was halfway though. Cal was up there, WSU was for a couple years. Even the Fucks from Mont Lake have been at the top.

That is why I think the Pac-10/12 is the best. Any given year can be ANY ONES year

Everyone I've talked to says auburn will run over us. No one realizes that UGA has a better rush defense, and tier pass defense is only a few yards better than UGA's. Murray and Gurley could possibly carve up auburn's d. Auburn is a lot better as far as scoring D goes. They've had a "bend but don't break" attitude all year. Hopefully we'll break em

Really should be a good/close match up....kinda like the Clemson game. I wish you guys luck but need ya to lose.

 

I've been saying the same thing. Not saying we will win, but I think we very well could. We match up better against them than most of our schedule all year. I think a lot depends on how our offense plays. We've been hit and miss since all the injuries. I just hope Conley and Lynch are able to go, and Gurley is at or near 100%.

This game could make or break our year. Win and have a shot at winning the East. And a decent bowl. Lose and we'll play in the who gives a shit bowl.

 

Oh and hope they're looking ahead to Bama.
