I have the same overall size tire with my 3" lift. I like how it looks.

If that is the route you really wanna go with a lift then do it. but honestly i would save up some money and go a different route. Seeing as your 2wd check out a spindle lift.

Yeah yours looks great man. I was looking at another thread with my setup up and I've decided that I'm going to do it.

I have the same set up (spacer lift and tire size). Like Gabassman said, it looks good but sometimes you stop and think that the tires look too small... As for the spacer lift, I hate it personally.
Although they are cheap, you comprimise ride quality. I can't compare my tacoma's ride quality to the stock suspension because it was like that when I bought it but I think its safe to say it's pretty damn rough compared to stock.
I have to slow down to a crawl for speed bumps or else the front coils make horrible recoil noises after they compress and extend. In short, it's primarily for looks.

I'm considering going the Billy 5100 route that everyone talks about on here (litte bit more money but I'm sure it'd be worth it) soon because I hate the ride quality that much.
That way I can set them a bit lower so that at least the truck will sit level, the wheels will fit the wheel wells better and the ride will be much smoother.
Not to mention, I'll save money by not having to pay the extra $$$ for bigger tires and wheels. :D

My 2 cents. Hope it helps!

Yeah I looked into the 5100 but I would be able to install them myself and I don't feel like over paying some shop to...but my dad said we could install the spacer lift that I had the link no problem. If the install cost isn't ridiculous then I might go that route we'll see

You could just rent a spring compressor or have a shop put the springs on the 5100's for you and do the rest yourself. Fairly simple and cheap doing it this way. You should have it aligned either way you go, so you're going to have to pay for that anyway. Sometimes shops will cut you a deal if they mount the springs and align it for you.

Really if you have any mechanic lie knowledge you can do put new struts and or springs in. Just be safe with the spring compressor.

If your on a tight budget theres nothing wrong with that and if its not going to be used as a hardcore wheeler right now Id buy it. Thats the amount of lift Im going for and size of tires but just looking at Icons to get my lift :)
