Would be pretty cool to do one of those dog fighting experiences they have with these. I always told my wife that if we had millions and millions of dollars then i would get a pilot license and buy one of these lol

Im looking at wheels on TireRack.com because they have that deal that lets you see how they look on the truck. Anyway im looking at wheels and then click the info tab just to get confused with all of this offset crap.

I plan on mounting a set of 33s to the rims and im pretty sure this program pics rims for you that are ok to use with near factory sized tires.

With that in mind, how much offset should i look into getting for a 17x9 wheel?

I believe Colin stated that it will be a good idea to put spacers to insure i dont rub the UCA.

If possible i would pefer to order the rim in exactly the size needed so that i wont have to use a large spacer. They most likely wont be made for a tacoma but same bolt pattern is all i need.

Looking into the XD line of wheels. Looked into beed locks and didnt feel like spending 350 or more a wheel lol.

Yea they have them on tire rack. However im worried that the backspacing on those rims they list as being Tacoma soec are calculated for a smaller tire size.

So if i buy those rims and get the approved tire size then ill be fine, yet if i jump from 30s to 33s i fear i may rub the UCA more than if i purchased rims that were most likely designed for a different vehicle in mind (as far as back space goes).

Unfortunately on tire rack it doesn't give you the option of saying "I'm running 33s instead of 30s."

You're skinny so I'd say three beers max.

Lol @ the pool table comment.

If you're looking for wheels I'd say check out FN Wheels. The owner, Dustin, is an absolute pleasure to work with and his prices for the quality of wheels he offers is outstanding.

Wait, if YOU have to pay for everything shouldn't YOU decide what goes in the "need column"

wheel spacers for stock wheels. otherwise 4.5'' backspacing. also verify that they are the proper hub bore. Toyotas have nice large hubs, but it just means that some of the 6 x 5.5 wheels that are more intended for chevys may not fit.

Actually now im really torn between two wheels.

These look pretty fucking sweet. Nice simple, yet somehow badass looking.
    http://www.fnwheels.com/new-products/konig-countersteer-offroad/

Of course the price is pretty damn good too.

    Thanks for the heads up

Edit: ill definately have to call and place an order. Can only buy in sets of four. I would need a minimum of 5. Preferably 6 but i could live with 5 for the time being.

Thanks again for the help. Hopefully ill have these ordered before Xmas
