OK thanks for the advice. I'll keep them in mind since I'm in Portland fairly often.

no.. someone posted it on the TW FB page and i checked it out. Made me laugh, and cant understand how someone could still do business that way.

on the other hand... i am looking at some small LED flood lights for my rear rack, and some for the side. I came across these tiny ones with two CREE LED's in one pod, fairly cheap and would make camping nice. sadly, cant remember who had them, so messing with google to find them. I dont even care if their cheap overseas shit. lol

Just rolled into town from the east coast a couple days ago, liking Seattle so far. First time living in an apartment without access to a garage/workshop though. Anybody know of any good shared or rentable shop spaces where I could work on my truck?

No shit. There is no way they make quality lights when they only charge 260 for a 42" light.

For small lights depending on what you want look at the 6LZ from blitzPro (http://blitzpro.com/led-bar-light.html). Remember my reverse LED I showed you at Browns. It lights a good area

If you have your tools then just use a covered garage (park & ride) wherever you find one... if you don't have tools, well then... I don't know what to tell ya-- maybe someone else can chime in on that aspect

where in Seattle area are you? there are people in quite a range, and several of us have garage space with tools. one guy has mentioned that he has a full shop in bellingham, but that is a bit of a drive from seattle. i think another guy has access to a shop in auburn area, but I don't remember for sure on that. look for install meets on here as well.

I've got most of the tools I need, unfortunately they and my tool chest are in storage, which I guess just means I'll have to plan ahead and grab any I might need before starting a project. Or invest in a more portable toolbox. Also, I've got a parking garage spot, so I can tackle some projects there, but I'm assuming the neighbors won't appreciate angle grinders and spraypaint etc in the garage with other cars.

Thanks for the offer, I may hit you up when I get to a project too big for my parking garage spot.

I'm in the Fremont area for now. Saving up for a high clearance rear bumper, in the near future, hoping I can find someone's garage or an install meet around that time.

Will (penguins) has had a few install meets at his place in Bellevue out in the driveway and street. I've done a couple at my place in the yard (3.28 acres) and driveway. Will swapped out his rear bumper in my driveway, and that was pretty simple.
