    Just got it!
Post up a side-shot of the truck so we can see it from a slight distance.

I'm not sure how I feel about red calipers on a vehicle with rear drums.

I like the idea of painting them, but I think I would have gone with black.

I used Dupli-Color ceramic paint. It seemed to went on pretty thick so we'll see how long it last

Just a note the flash was on when taking the picture, it doesn't stand out as much as the picture presents its more subtle,

Looks good! I painted mine the same color in summer 2012. Basically I did the proper prep work with sanding and cleaning, then primer, painting, and clear coating all with VHT paints. It held up perfectly until I got a flat which I wanted patched up. The tire tech caused a paint chip while handling the wheel, and since then its become a deposit area for brake dust, and its due for a repaint this spring. When I redo it, I'll probably go with black to mask the dust accumulation.

I painted my drums black since I didn't know if they would corrode over time, and they have held up very well.

I'm thinking of doing this as well. It'll go nicely with my black/red theme. Looking good OP!

Question for the OP, did you take off the calipers to spray them or just leave them on and mask everything off?

I voted yes, but it only looks good with certain wheels.

I think it depends on the wheel, the trucks color, the wheel color, and the type of vehicle. The problem is keeping them red. Without being powder coated, the hell of the road will dull the paint pretty easily. I need a zoomed out pic of the whole truck to really say yay or nay.

I agree on needing a pic of the WHOLE truck. The idea of black drums in back sounds kinda silly, but I have to see to really get if it works or not.
