Shitty gas mileage, rough ride, probably loud on the inside (not sure how "refined" they've gotten recently).

But they're soooooooo cuuuuuuuute!

my truck wasnt loud on the inside until i did the exhaust and 255/85's

 

Mine gets decent gas mileage. But I don't think any of us bought our truck as a "practical daily driver". I doubt if we didn't have the need to haul shit or offroad (mildly in my case ) we probably wouldn't have chosen a Taco

Drove a 4-door Wrangler on 35's. Wasn't any louder than my truck and probably doesn't get much worse gas mileage. Definitely had more power than my truck. Could get up to 95mph before it got too squirrely to feel safe.

Drove a two door on 285s. Loud inside(wind noise) touchy gas pedal, and getting in and out was a pain.

 

4 door and wrangler, in my opinion, are two words that don't go together.

 

Rode in a 2 door Jeep on 33s with a detachable roof ON when riding back from SE WA... holy shit that was loud! The wind was catching the roof making it impossible to hear the music or each other, we had to basically shout to talk to one another.
Eff that, never again.

 

In winter around here you can't heat a jeep enough to stay warm. The wind comes right in at highway speed. Even with the hard top they suck. Wrangler fit and finish isn't the best. She complains that her rav4 is noisy on the highway, so I'm sure the jeep isn't going to satisfy her after a while. She would get the 6 speed manual so at least it would have a decent engine and trans.

 

I've never gotten girls' obsession with jeeps. I understand and respect them as a utility vehicle that gets used off road a lot, but I don't understand why so many want them as a DD. I guess it's cool cause the roof and shit comes off but so would a convertible car that frankly makes much more sense.

Finally got my seats for the cbr. They look bad ass. Gonna ride back to work to feel them out

 

My mom wouldn't be able to take the roof off. She is a pilot that is flying for 10 days straight and she leaves her car in the airport parking lot. It would be destroyed by the time she got back. She just thinks they are fun to drive. It was lifted with 33s and she liked that too.
