The CVO brings a ton of cash. Most of the Harley market is a status symbol. I'm going with a fat bob after college.

    Yeah it's freakin' retarded.

Gf is stressing out because she made and 88 on her finals exam. I am not going to cause my kids to stress out like her parents have done to her just because they don't get all A's....

I agree. They act like you're a failure if you get a B. There's a fine line between pushing your kids to try and stressing them out in my opinion. I will say that I wish my parents would have pushed me a little more. I never tried in High School and kept high B's and A's. Could have and should have been an all A student.

meh you can say all that now but each kid is different and as a parent you'll have to figure out what motivates your child.

It's not uncommon for employers to be weary of 4.0 students (in engineering) because I can almost guarantee a straight A engineering student will be awful to work with.

Hmm, I can see that. She's in accounting though. Yet she's freaked out about an 88 in her business class? Haha

It's not freaking out a little. She does this with every single test if she doesn't make a 95 or higher.

Welcome, and I agree. I graduated with a 3.05 :anonymous:

We called the 4.0 students bobble heads because all they did all lecture was nod in approval at the professor.
