But it wasn't completely strange, he has hit that before.

I think Tara is going to do something CRAZY they keep showing her holding the gun, not that she has it in her purse for protection, but in her hand like five times during the episode. Then her comment about, look what you have made me... or made me do (can't remember which one she said).

I love all the hatred for Tara now. Hell, I back her 100%. Well, maybe 95%. I don't like the way she went behind Jax's back to get Gemma off her, but I can understand wanting to protect her kids from Gemma. Gemma is a dangerous woman, and if those two boys grow up with Gemma having any kind of influence, they are going to be some trouble kids for sure.

 

So I just started watching this and Opie's wife's death hit me right in the feels.

 

I don't back Tara at all, in her idea yes, her execution, no effin way, Jax is trying to steer the club into legit concerns which should mean a better life for his boys. I'm not totally backing Gemma either, her heart is in the right place, just as long as she doesn't perceive it to be a threat to her. But what I find compelling about Sutter's writing is the backstory of what part Gemma played in JT's death, that Gemma, maybe more so than Clay really has the biggest skeleton of all in her closet. Jax still doesn't know the truth about his dad and what part Gemma played in that, now that Nero knows, and for the life of me I can't understand why Gemma would tell him about it (guilt?), it is setting Jax on a collision course with his mother and what really happened.

 

So you actually back Gemma? Maybe we have been watching a different show? Lol. I know we both have our different opinions, and like I said, I don't agree with how Tara did things, but a mother will do strange things when they feel backed into a corner. Gemma has FAR been the good mother since the first show. She is dangerous, and controlling. Would you let YOUR mother come in and try to take over how your wife is taking care of your children? (Assuming you have kids, I don't know..lol) I know my ex-wife's mom tried to step in and tell us how we should raise our children, and my ex-wife told her point blank, "STFU and stay out of our decisions, because they are not yours! They are our children!"

I have had dealings with this lifestyle, and what surprises me the most is that Tara would have fully been within her rights to step up and take her position as club "mother". As the wife of the Prez, she has more pull than the mother of the prez. She could have asked Jax for support in this, and asked for his support. Club rules, he would have no choice but to back Tara and tell his mom to step back out of position.

 

Yeah it is kinda crazy to watch and you feel sorry for the Tara character....Jax has no idea that she's divorcing him and doing all this for the kids because of a jail sentence.

Thing is......if she stays out of jail then Jax gets the kids and Tara gets visitation? Does Jax say "fuck it, after all I drug her thru i'll forgive her"......prob not....but I can't wait to see how the shit pans out.
