It was 43 this morning and I thought I was about to die

 

Shit I work on a grave shift and is mid 30's or lower all night not to forget 20 mph wind chill to make it feel colder.. I thought when I lived in florida that was cold weather, now I think that it wasn't shit compared to new mexico's weather

 

Yeah, the desert gets crazy cold at night. Nothing to stop the wind either

 

Plus where I work its flat and all open to the elements. Cant wait for the low to mid teens in Dec.

 

I hate anything over 75. I avoid going outside in summer unless it's to fish.

nah, that's how the crappy part of florida is. i miss it. rarely dropped into the 60s on the coldest nights where i lived. paradise

alright, give it to me straigh, is this actually how cold winter is here?!?! i was 1) not expecting 40 degree weather, and 2) really don't like when it. please tell me this is jsut a cold snap and it's not gonna be like this until april

I'm in shorts and short sleeve shirt at 60. I'm inside in air conditioning at 80. Lol. My girlfriend loves hot weather. She's cold if it's not 80 degrees. I hate it.

Yeah it does, and the bugs that come with it. I only deal with it for a month out of the year. Granted thats when its 110-120 out but I can handle that for the weather I have for the next 5-6 months

 

I guess you'd be alright if yours was getting 2 mpgs? Hey it's a truck right? Not like the gas cost money or anything.

My point was the American trucks are getting better MPGs with more power. Would be nice to see Toyota catch up. If I was overly concerned about high MPGs, I would have bough a Jeremy Clarkson's favorite car.

 

pft atleast your in houston. north texas winter is between mid november til maybe mid march. and sometimes it snows . texas accomodates people like you though there'll be weeks where the weather on tuesday is freezing tit balls cold and wednesdays is high 80's lol gotta love texas
