    1) hell yeah!

    2) do you actually understand what goes into building that kind of truck, from both a money and knowledge/skill standpoint? i'm not making fun of you, just trying to put it into persective; we're having a mod day because you cant do a factory axle swap on your own.

yeah i understand its expensive and time consuming and requires alot of knowledge and skill but isnt that what having a team is for? to bounce ideas off one another and to learn one another along with learning from mistakes?

most folks that run races like baja are running garage built trucks that they either built all on their own, or maybe with a few friends. then they just round up some buddies for a chase team. when you watch the videos and promotions, you're seeing the same 10ish truck over and over. they are the large minority that have dedicated build teams or race shop sponsorships to do the work for them. all you see in this picture (a roller, minus wheels and tires), from camberg, cost you $50,000

to build your own race ready vehicle, you'll need to own, of have nearly unlimited access to a machine show, with everything from a dremel, to welders, to a bridgeport mill (ideally cnc). and then you have to know how to use it all.

not trying to kill any dreams, just want to show why you hear every other guy with a prerunner saying they want to run baja someday, but then stock class only has 100 trucks in it, and fewer trucks as you work your way up the classes.
