I am a huge fan of ipad installs, but in my opinion, most of them are unnatural in that you can always see the color of the ipad and the home button and the float mounts look like an ipad just stuck to the dash... THIS INSTALL IS AWESOME!! I solute you for taking the time to counter sink the screen for a sleek OEM look. it doesnt look like an iPad. It looks like a bad ass huge factory touch screen GPS. The fact that its wired and not bluetooth is another reason why this install is perfect.

I'm definitely very interested! Well done on your part, sir! I started a thread almost a year ago asking if anyone has ever installed an iPad mini in a tacoma, and this exceeds what I ever though was imaginable. If you ever make a kit I will be first in line to purchase!

That's sweet. It looks great. Really looking forward to more details on how it's installed and how it works with the speakers. Awesome job!

Nice job! I would so do this with my ipad before installing any other touch screen video anything in the truck, mucho kudos...........right now I just hang it from the passenger visor and run it 3G off the phone and bluetooth stream the sound into the factory stereo via my rostra hands free bluetooth hookup for the phone that plugs into oem stereo harness and have usb/aux/ipod hookups into oem 6 disc via grom audio into cd1.
