Not sure if TRD Tacoma is 4WD

I have had my tacoma for a year now and have thought it was 4Wd since I've had it. It is a 2008 double cab TRD package. I thought that since it didn't say prerunner that it was 4WD. I have the rear differential but again not sure about the 4WD. Just need a little help and advice. Thanks!

 

if there is a knob under the center driver side ac vent then its 4WD

 

Does the tailgate say prerunner?

 

Try putting it in 4WD dummy

 

Mud flaps should say 4x4. If all black then pre-runner.

4wd is sort of a big item cost-wise when you purchase a vehicle. How did you go through the entire buying process and not know for sure if it was indeed 4wd?
