I have been a Houston fan since the Warren Moon days. I have hated the Cowbitches since Jerry Jones started coaching the team. Yeah I know he calls himself the owner, but he's the one calling all the plays. I live near Philly, and Dec 2010 when Houston came to town, I went to the game at the Linc in my Texans gear.

 

They were there when I was growing up in Houston.

How many Super Bowl wins does the Texans have? Even if you count the Oilers they still have no wins.

 

Read something about the gloryhole term referring to a phrase in the oil business which is what Jerry got rich off of IIRC.

There are a lot of Dallas fans who don't know what they're talking about and are fairweather fans. I see it all the time on my facebook, "Tony Romo sucks" etc. when last year was one of his best seasons overall imo. Maybe not statistically(although he did have I think the 4th highest qb rating) but as a whole I thought so. Our problem last year wasn't Romo. It was our defense, mainly the secondary giving up leads in the 4th and our play calling.

 

cowboys are having their training camp in Oxnard which is about a 20 min drive from where i live... might go check out their practice one day just for shits and gigs

 

Well I won't say he is overrated especially by people around here. More often than not he isn't given enough credit imo. I know he's had his share of mess ups but a lot of last season wasn't his fault. I mean, the defense gave up 6 fourth quarter leads. Plus Garrett had very conservative play calling late in games.

I've never been a fan of Jason Garrett. Here's how is play calling goes:
5 point lead in the 4th so he calls 3 runs and the Cowboys goes 3 and out.
At the 3 yard line with 1st and goal. Let's not pound it in with DeMarco Murray but try to pass it instead.

 

Peolpe that say "Romo sucks!" are plain out idiots and don't know much about football... Staubach and Aikman had great teams around them to win super bowls, no great QB ever can win all by himself. It takes a whole team. Romo has never had a great team around to be successful. He has carried the Cowboys to be respectable since he took over. PEOPLE don't for get how bad it's was before Romo....If Romo had one of the best RB, WR , and and the best o-line ever like Aikman just imagine how GREAT he would be and how many rings he would have by now. Plus, the 90's team were great on D too and Romo's teams D have plain out sucked bad.

 

I'm sure that everyone that has voted on the poll just hate the Cowboys...so this poll sucks just like the Texans. Lol

LOL.. I see we have some haters in the crowd. The Texans SUCK this year...Not that the COwboys are a whole lot better, but they're definitely better. 1st place in that dominating NFC East!
