I get the air flow, I was just thinking boarded over the posts with 1"-2" gaps between boards. But it might not go with the house design. Just curious. Looks good.

That would work too , but the siting of this woodshed puts the open side facing the driveway into the least amount of wind due to site conditions

Thanks , it turned out better that I thought it would when the client and I first talked about fitting it in there with the driveway elevation as it is

My house had considerable damage (~30K from insurance) from a tornado. The tornado ended up being the largest tornado ever recorded and i'm fortunate to have only had the damage I did. That being said, the new roof is done, the aluminum siding has been replaced with vinyl, my carport has been rebuilt, and things are starting to wrap up.

The contractors though, good God. I have to ride their ass DAILY to make them do decent work. They declared themselves done with the project today. Tomorrow I will have to ask them why they originally took five windows worth of shutters off my house, and decided to only replace three of them, why my doorbell was reinstalled at an angle, why things we agreed would be painted remain unpainted, why there are huge ruts in my front yard, why cables were sloppily thrown up instead of being tucked away nicely like they used to be.

I'm ready for them to fix everything and hopefully stay as far away from my house as possible after that. I do plan on leaving negative reviews about them through various outlets, because that's really all I can do a this point. I regret ever letting my wife influence the decision to use these clowns.

We're young (25 and 21) and have a one year old son. This is our first home and i'm mainly focusing on resale value with the work we had them do. Here's how she's looking right now...

Next up is tackling those awful flower beds.

we had "roofers" pop up outta nowhere on my side of town (over by tinker) offering to do all the paperwork for us to replace our ENTIRE roof...I got up, looked at it, had a few damaged shingles, replaced and sealed them myself and haven't had a leak yet. Couldn't find any info on these guys anywhere, not in the phone book, not online, nothing. Don't envy anyone out on your side of town...

Question: just pulled carpet out of a room and painted and sealed the concrete. Now I need to put in a couple transition strips to tile. What's the best way to secure the strips?

Small concrete nails with a powder actuated gun (very light load), tap cons or a strong adhesive.

    Ok, strong adhesive I have.

    Thank you.

In Phoenix, Az it is safe to assume that it is not.

I guess I could share. I helped out a little in the never ending project at my dads house. All the before pictures are from November 2007 when we got the house. The after are mostly pictures from this year

The whole entire house was redone including the front and backyard.

    The backyard

That double shower would double my showering time if the wife was in there also. I'd be way too distracted.
