Here's a side-by-side. The left is the stock incandescent. The right is the new LED.

Can I ask where you got that? I am looking for some different ideas like that, and I like the simplicity of a bolt on unit like that.

Check the connection at the reverse switch on your transmission. On a manual there is an actual switch. In an automatic the switch on the shifter at the transmission is where that is at. It should have 12V going in, and then 12V going out the appropriate wire when shifted into reverse.

    Just a thought.

The place I ordered from had free shipping. (pretty sure it's the same link that's being posted here).

I might be up in FoCo next week. If you don't order them by then, hit me up with a PM

I HATED having to tell a customer something like that. It sucks because when you drop off your vehicle, it may take a while before an actual tech gets your work order. Depending on shop load and the number of people who come in. Then the tech gets your work order, checks with parts, and they are not in stock. To the tech it was only about 10 minutes between when he got the work order, and finding out the parts were not in stock. For the customer (i.e. you) it's a much longer time frame. I would suggest next time when you make your appointment, make it for first thing when the shop opens, and then call them the day before just before closing to confirm they have enough parts for the recall in stock. That is what I have suggested when they come in the first time and we were out of stock.

I'm in no hurry, let me know if your up this way, or could meet at your end too. Oscar Blues is about midway...I stop in for a beer and a Reuben occasionally.

I'm not too bent outa shape about it, just kinda incompetent ya know, I made the appointment yesterday and got in early, I ASSumed they would have parts in stock considering it is a fairly new ongoing recall... oh well

I got my Blue Sea through Amazon also..

and also made a little shelf for it..

I also added a 100a breaker close to the battery

That's a helluva lot closer to me than you. But if you frequent there, yeah I can meet you pretty much any time.
