    Hey
I just bought my first Tacoma. It's a 2002 double cab 3.4, with 31in Nitto terra grippler A/t's. Whats the best mod for the buck? Intake, exhaust, lift?

Wow the deck mod is cheap! It cannot possibly be better than a k&N? Im very curious to see dyno results.

Gadget from URD dyno-ed a deckplate mod on a 96 4runner and got consistent 8hp gains from it...

To think i was about to dish out $280 for a K&N. Does any one sell a kit for this? Also is there any difference in sound? I know it wont be much, but im very curious!

theres a definate difference in sound

I was on the phone with Chris4x4 and he was asked what kind of exhaust i had...

i said stock...and it surprised him...and he's the guru of tech around here

no kit...just go to your local boating supply store and buy a 4" deckplate...dremel a hole out...seal the deckplate in with sensor safe silicone and voila! done
