Nahh I will leave the mountain biking to him ;) I have had the chance to ride some of his ridiculously nice and expensive bikes at some of his races.
I can't remember exactly what bike it was but I think it was like some $10,000 Specialized bike! haha
This was the Red Bull Rampage back in 2010, my dad and I rode the 5 miles out to the site everyday. It was tough for a beach cruiser girl like me. lol

I've always wanted a beach cruiser...

Hey Jordan, I swung by the V6 yesterday. Everyone says "Hi!".

Do they make a carbon beach cruiser with xt components? I'd rock one of those.

My skate style lid is bell and fits perfect. The bell just felt weird, I forgot what size it was but I think I tried medium and large but I think I am in between. I want to try the new ixs helmet i like the looks but doubt I could find one locally

So my local shop has a stumpjumper FSR carbon frame. I think its the COMP ($4000) normally, but it's last years model and they want $3500 for it. Is the carbon frame worth it on a bike? Do you think that's a good deal? I was hoping for $3200, but even that's more than I wanted to spend. I've been wanting a full suspension for a long time, and this bike looks sweet.

Unless you're gonna do some serious racing...I'd say stick to the aluminum frame...but thats just me.
Wheelworld.com had a 2013 model (aluminum) fsr comp for $2300...may want to check em out in the closeout section.

Pick up some lights! (Artscyclery.com hahaha) Iv been doing night rides after work at like 730 till 9 and its so much fun its like a whole diffrent sport i use a lezyne superdrive xl on my helmet thats 600 lumens then a lezyne mega drive on my bars thats 1200 lumens and its plenty of light they can be expensive bit its worth it cuz u can still ride, its not sketch at all the only aletchy part is the animals haha isk how popular night riding is anywhwre else but theres a couple dozen guys in slo so alot of the time u even see other riders out on the trail at like 9 ha check put light and motion too them and lezyne are the best in my opinion

    Punctuation. You need it :D

Almost all the trails around here are illegal after dark. However, the open space peeps are looking at opening some. People still ride tho-just no lights.

Thanks, Ill check it out. It is tempting, I knew I would be spending close to $3k for a solid FS bike, They want $3500, and its my size a M which is hard to find.
