I wouldn't have been surprised if that guy ended up getting skewered! Clearly hasn't spent much time in the woods.

I have a test in about 30 minutes and then another class an hour after that, then I wait for my wife to get off work and we head to her parents to give a bunch of cows their shots and pour on and probably re-tag a few. So I don't have much of a weekend now. Ruined my wheeling trip for tomorrow.

For graphics tho there is a reason

Windows isn't color managed. Mac is.

Why macs always look better on monitors.

On top of that. Mac OS is much different so you don't need as powerful of a Mac as a PC.

Even for graphic design you don't need much.

I'd get a Mac man..there are reasons why almost all professionals in photo/audio/video/graphics use them..

For programming I'd get a PC and dual boot with Linux.

    That thing looks expensive tho

Eh. Tablets won't replace computers anytime soon. Rather get a full computer and just a draw pad if I was going that route

Unless you are editing photos for print publications I don't think that is a good selling point. Most of you guys just post your pics up on here and such and the color management is now turned over to whatever the person viewing it is using and I'll bet more than half the time it isn't a nice mac.

Realistically, for viewing online, I would think you would want to edit them on a mid class type display and try to get them looking as good as they can on that, since that is likely what most people are going to view them with.

I love my god damn mouse and keyboard. My phone can be a pain in the ass to type on sometimes and it's a 5" screen! Plus you end up with fingerprints all over the screen because you are always touching it. For the record, I despise the touchpads that laptops have. I just turned mine off and use a wired mouse on my laptop.
