    Congrats, I had to buy my first vehicle on my own and pay for insurance. I scraped up $2000 and bought an old blazer.

    You shouldn't be bummed about getting any vehicle that's bought for you. Especially one as nice as that Tacoma.

    I couldn't agree more. I'm very blessed. Just meant I was disappointed to have been mistaken for this long about my truck. Still couldn't be happier about my what I have.

    definitely don't be bummed I bought my 99 tacoma three years ago when I was 15 started driving when I was 16 and paid insurance ever since then.

    That '4' is a gear lower than drive.

    Use your lower gears when starting up a hill while you're towing or hauling something heavy.

    ... Don't use your lower gears while driving at highway speeds, they're only for slow driving.

    That is a TRD Off-Road Rugged Trails edition. I didn't know the Rugged Trails package was available on a prerunner. You should crawl underneath your truck and take photos of the underside, especially the front half. Post the pictures here and we can give you a 100% correct answer.

    No. You have to be in D and R simultaneously to enable death ray mode.
