    Look into the kbb and nada value BUT i think you would do very well. You have a 4cyl which gets better mpg & the tacoma's hold value very well. I dont think you'd lose out that much

    thanks, didnt really need the sr5 package any way. could cut cost onthe new on by nixing that.

    I looked up my 09 I4 4x2 a few weeks ago and it's only dropped $2000 (Canadian) in value in six months. I'm looking at trading up when the lease is up in 2 years.

    How bad of a hit you take also depends on what type of deal you got when you bought the 4-banger. Did you pay under invoice-if so, by how much; any rebates; did you trade-in with negative equity? All of these facors determine if it would be a worthwhile trade for the v-6.
