Other news, I cleaned my engine bay, but after I just looked at it & went why. It's just gonna get dirty again with the next muddy waterhole I find...

After nearly a month of back and forth emails with Custom Parts Depot (vendor that sold me the lights through Amazon) I finally got my 3030 lumen D2s.

I bought the lights originally (advertised as 3030 lumen) but I received 2600 lumen D2s instead. Apparently I had noticed a large mistake on D2s portion, where they packaged the 3030 D2s in old 2600 lumen packaging... that's what the rep from Custom Parts Depot told me-- I didn't really buy it when he said it. He was getting Rigid Industries to send me a new set so it didn't matter too much if I bought that excuse for the issue or not.

I'll test em when it gets dark and see the difference between the two, if any.
I do have to say that the rep was EXTREMELY helpful when it came to communication between his company, Rigid Industries, and myself. It was a bit of a PITA to take care of this issue, but all in all good customer service as well as the exchanging of the product made me label this experience a positive one, or more so NOT a negative one.

    I wish.
He sent out the new ones so I could put just the old lights in & send em back. I didn't want to rip out the already installed wiring harness.

    Haha here's the code: thanks13

I went ahead and got steel. 50lbs of weight saved isn't worth the extra $150. Considering I want 35's, rear swingout bumper and an RTT my weight savings is out the window.
