No. Fucking kid was trying to justify the trade with a rusted out POS with 187k on it. It had bad engine wiring because rats chewed through it and it was in an accident so the driver's door hinge was loose (dropped down 1/4" when opened) and the hood didn't line up, among many MANY other minor details like: orange peel on the crudely repaired body damage (paint shade doesn't even match completely), rust bubbling up the paint on the edge of the roof that butts up to the windshield, the tires he said were new were completely flat and old, and one thing I thought was really odd was the shifter was VERY stiff when going through the shifting pattern. Never experienced that before. It is parked at a shitty Lynn garage (and has been there for 8 months) where a "buddy" of the owner is just chillin with a 40 in a paper bag shooting the shit, and when I was trying to talk one on one with the kid, the buddy is like "well Manny can do the electrical for like $125" and "Jose can fix that rust up for cheap, just enough so he can make a little profit". The fucker doesn't understand I'M LOOKING AT A POS $700 CAR, I'M NOT INTERESTED IN PUTTING HALF OF WHAT I PAID FOR IT IN PARTS AND REPAIRS! Fucking Christ that was so fucking annoying. "Oh blahblahblah does great work" (in a very accusative tone) when I was pointing out the issues. Such a fucking fuck.

THEN on top of it all, including riding in fucking 30 degree weather for 100 miles that day between school, Lynn, and home, the dumbass kid was saying "well the bike has damage too, so it's a fair trade" and I was all like "at least my bike runs and only has cosmetic issues. I wouldn't touch that car with a 10' pole." He also tells me I've looked at the car more than he has. He bought it from his dad and doesn't have his license. He had a new muffler put on and shit but I don't care. Sarah is getting a Tacoma. At least I know exactly what to look for.

God that kid is such a fucking moron. So is the shop owner's buddy! The kid doesn't understand that I can't give him the title until I pay off the loan on it. Typical Lynn dumbfucks.

Yeah, it was me. I ended up buying new ones through Camelback for like $30. Mine were rusted out bad. New ones are already on the truck!

 

Crap..just came into a free pair..and 2 extra D rings. Got the LED part to a tail as well..

 

Damn, that sucks! About 2 weeks too late. I couldn't find them used, even the LT guys who remove their tail gates sell them off with the cables or keep them to go back to stock later on.

Busy morning but very productive!

Rented a 9 hp Honda push blower. Finished my 2 acre property in roughly 2 hours as compared to days of work with a regular backpack blower! I'm in love.

Also mowed the lawn, winterized the tractor and other yard tools, and finally, I brought the snow blower into the garage from the shed

 

Productive day so far, I've done...nothing. Late night at Twin River..ZZ Top

 

I just dumped my old fridge. Learned my truck weighs 4460lbs. Also learned a 9005 socket will replace our H10/9145 fog light sockets. About to go swap that out now.

 

I am over a buddies cutting down trees and an old swing set
