    Magnesium Chloride is a salt.

    It's applied in liquid form out here. And yes it does cause corrosion, like any salt on metal, but not nearly at the rate of regular road salt (sodium chloride).

    I agree with you that the corrosion is not near as bad out here as it is in other places. And the way they salt in other areas is much worse as well.

    Took my daughter up to Winter Park today to get our first turns of the season.

    Haven't been to that mountain in 16 or 17 years.
