crawled around on the powerlines yesterday for a bit, rode great, no rub... yet.

i can see why guys hate the hood scoop, it's hard enough to see over the standard hood on steep descents. sit so damn low.

quick poser shot, super nice fall weather.. .

hahaa, getting up on them is the sketchy part! staying up, no sweat. :D

that section is fun, up/down/up/down washed out access roads. smooth in the pic but some decent babyheads to keep the going slow. one pretty long uphill i didnt attempt, wasn't sure if i could exit in the truck at the other end.

nothing crazy, just fun. i dirt bike back there on a small, tight single-track loop.

Do you know what the backspacing is on your wheels by chance? Are you still on the stock UCA?

and I love my skewp now that I have one.....

    wheels are 7.5" wide, +31 offset, 5.5" backspacing... + i have 1.25" spacers.

yup, still on stock UCAs but i'm saving for a set of LRs

love the look of the scoop, wanted one bad, but after fooling around yesterday on those descents, i can see how it gets in the way. tall hoods on these trucks as is.

OK so if they are 5.5" backspacing that means they are now 4.25" backspacing with your spacers, right?

I am glad I found a scooped hood about 15 miles from my house, lol....

hmm, yes, the backspacing number does go down, but to translate that to another aftermarket wheel, it would need the same width + offset to match.

yeah, if i found a trade local, i would prob still do it :D dig the look

Any updates on this setup? Spring settling, ride quality at different settings, etc.?

Curious to know as this seems to be a comparable setup to OME 884's and 5100's plus the benefit of adjustable ride, or am I way off base?

I'm really liking the QuickLIFT, ride great, very smooth, prob try the #3 setting soon but only to see if I notice a change.

Rancho said they won't really settle for over a year or two... Rep I spoke to said he's had them 2.5 years and they settled about 1/2" or so.

I am liking the sound of this. Might have to scrap my original plans and go Rancho.

Thx for the info and when you guys play with settings keep us updated on the findings.

From looking at rancho's website, is this a spacer lift or suspension lift? im talking the front, i know the rear is blocks, but this looks cool if its a true suspension lift

no cons here. rides great. need to take measurements again, not sure where i netted out now that i've but a bunch of miles on them.

Gaunt595, it's a suspension lift. fully assembled coilover + strut with 9-way adjustable tuning. i'm on setting 2, soft.

i've got a Wheelers 1/4" spacer on passenger and 1/2" spacer on driver. sits pretty even up front.
