    Bahahahaaha.....

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I'll be 46 before you!! Neener neener neener!!

And I have a TRD SPORT!!!

To the OP.... nothing wrong with a SPORT. Do some 'manly' upgrades to it and make it 'your own'. And by the way...who gives a shit what other people think. We're too old for that drama anyway!

You ain't old. I am 44 so you can't be old because it makes me old. Remove the stickers and enjoy it. I removed the TRD stickers from my bed. One day I will remove all the badges.. you are only as old as you feel. My body may be 44 but in my mind I am still a kid and will never grow up. I am gonna to stay young until I die...

OP-The skewp was THE selling point for my step dad and he's 53. I know it's pushed a lot of people over the edge too, if you don't like it then I'd do what Beavis initially suggested and make a little extra by offloading the scooped hood and getting rid of the stickers.

If you dont like the scoop sell it get a new hood. If your thinking of getting a SR5 just to let you know pretty sure that stands for Sport Rally.

Don't quite track what age has to do with it. I'm 64 and wanted the Sport for the looks and ride. Getting more decrepit all the time and find it annoying/painful to scrunch up when getting in the truck, but, wife and I are really enjoying getting off-road again. We like the hood scoop and decals. Debadged ours and I added some TRD emblems. Don't blame age for buying decisions. At some point you get old enough to realize that this isn't a dress rehearsal and you better be doing what you want, 'cause you're running out of time to "get around to it later". Life is a one-way street.

im new, but i figured i could count on you guys for some sensitive and insightful feedback. i think ive decided to drop the coin and trade it on the 4x4. i have other toys in the garage to look cool in. my son (a cubscout) and i discussed and have decided that to us it makes more sense to mod a more capable truck. hopefully it will give us some bloody knuckles to share and then become his truck. first stop summit racing baby.....

I'll agree with this young feller, slowcpa. The stickers suck. Hood scoop, is fake; so were the air outlets on a 67 Camero RS but at least those were cool. And TRD 4x2? That's like dating a woman that stuffs her bra, all show and no go.

Tacoma could do well to rid itself of gimmicks, but those gimmicks impress small minds. Small minds pay big money for trivial things they feel impress others (little wanger syndrome) and small minds also got this country into the mess we are in today. But hey, "if you dont like your stickers, you don't have to can keep your stickers. Period." :proposetoast:

WTF? Brother, please don't base this decision on that poll.
    Pot or Kettle OZ? ;)

See OZ, you should have added the " "

I agree with Janster. The only way I'd let the dealer take my money was if I really was gonna need the 4x4 functionality (read "not just to be cool"). IIRC you're in GA, unless you're gonna wheel it or do a lot of hunting and fishing that puts you in places you'll NEED 4x4, I'd keep your truck. Sounds like you got a good deal on it to me. IMHO FWIW

This thread went right where I predicted it would. HippyMoose is the one that gets it.
