Some of them are excellent advice.
-Ratchet straps, Duct tape, and zip-ties should account for 90% of the hardware holding your truck togather, otherwise it will break.

I have had a ratchet strap holding my gas tank skid on for at least 5 years. My headlights and grill would not be there without zip ties. It's interesting because the faster I go at night, the more the wind pushes the lights toward the ground. Safety third!

-Dont bother making a custom dash, girls are way more interested in gadgets with lots of dials and cool lights.

Lol, so true. WTF do you need a dash for?

-dont bother with braided steel brake lines, just cut the mounts holding your stock ones in place, and it will droop more.

I stripped out my rear brake lines trying to remove them with worn out craftsman wrenches, so I just cut the mounts. Rubber brake lines stretch more anyway. (I finally got snap on line wrenches and changed them after a few years).

-To re-align your truck, just hit the obstacle (that put it out of alignment in the first place) twice as fast.

I disagree with this one. I welded the alignment tabs solid.

-radiator shrouds should be made on-site out of cardboard and duct tape. this way you can tune it specifically to each track condition.

What's a radiator shroud? lol broke mine a long time ago.
    I could go on.

Ya rivet nuts sound best, was just concerned about size hole required for rivet nut. The brake light tabs on my glassworks bedsides are pretty small and thin. I'm gonna have to look into getting a rivet setup dealio.....

You can do it the ghetto way...just drill the hole small, push the rivet nut in, then put a flat washer under the bolt and tighten it down to squish the rivet nut. If it spins use needle nose vice grips to hold the nut... It's not a lot of fun and you will go buy the tool after about four of those. I bet once you have the tool you'll be using it for all kinds of shit.

"It is being reported that off-road racing legend Kurt Caselli crashed after hitting a boobie trap and later died after being medevaced to the nearest hospital. At this point, details are scarce, but numerous credible sources are all reporting the same thing."

I hope I can go pinned in 6th gear. Baja claims another...RIP.

    Very Tragic!

On a lighter note, Our very Own Louis Chamberlin here at the shop took 1st place in Class 1 with Damen Jefferies! Louis drove the night with a little trick up his sleeve
