DIY's are pretty consistent at 2-3 weeks lead time. Mostly dependent on how long it takes for the shop across town to bend plates on their press brake, sometimes I get 1-2 day turnaround from them, sometimes 1-2 weeks :frusty:

What exactly are you looking for in the way of light mounts on the hoop? Lights to go over or under hoop? Light size? etc.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. By the way, I hope you got the air conditioning parts all ordered correctly for that other truck.

I have decided to go with a roof mount for my LED light bar, so no worries there on installation for the bumper. It won't be going on the bumper.

The DIY kit SKU 9604frkit on your website has no actual pictures, so I have been trying to extrapolate from the pictures on this thread as to what the basic one looks like. So far I am guessing that the center piece has the winch mount, and the two large holes in the front to access the clutch release for the winch. I recently obtained a Smittybuilt XRC8 winch that I will be using. I am assuming it should fit inside this bumper? The solenoid pack can be mounted remotely, so that is not an issue.

As for changes from the base bumper, I am wanting the stinger hoop shown in the center (ok, it's not a real 'stinger' but I've always called them that) but I am still undecided on the fog light openings. Without the fog light openings, I am looking at $509 plus shipping, correct? I was curious, and you can't blame me for asking, but would you be interested in a partial cost in trade of my wheel bearing assemblies for the 2nd gen Tacoma? If you are thinking of considering it, just PM me on that. Thanks for your time.

I'm almost ready to put down the deposit on my front bumper. Another week I think?

I'll snap a pic of a DIY that we're going to be shipping out Monday. It is a bit modified (20" rigid mount/no winch, and square D2 fog light cutouts) but will show you how you'd receive everything.
I believe you're correct on that price. We may have a special on them later this month, so keep that in mind- could potentially save a few $$ on one.
Sorry, not interested in the bearings- I dont have a 2nd gen at the moment.... Might be interested in some for my '03 if it were an option.

We'll be cutting parts this week and dropping them off for some forming right after they're cut. you might be lucky and have it ship by the end of the week or it could take longer. Depends on the shop that bends the plates for me. Sometimes it's next day turnaround and sometimes a week and a half or more from them

Do we pay all up front, or is it a 50% deposit, then balance when ready to ship? Lots of guys doing different things, so I want to be sure the right way.

DIY parts are always all up front when placing the order. On complete fab I can do 1/2 down, but that requires calling in and manually running a credit card or sending me a Paypal payment.

Kind of wishing I would have gotten a DIY kit too... Would get it a lot fast and could have somebody here weld it for me...
