My truck is not used as a truck so I took my overload leaf out to level it with the add a leaf

definitely rake. when you are hauling a load not only will your truck look "stupid" IMHO, but if you hit highway speeds with your truck in bro squat mode, your truck is much less aerodynamic and you can lose notable fuel economy depending on how much bro squat you have.

idk if the aerodynamics is going to effect it as much as have less weight on front wheels and in turn less steering control and could cause you to wreck. Thats what i’d be worried about more than fuel. also even having a heavy tongue or bed weight will do this no madder what. but the lower the rear and high the front the worse it’s going to be. also you are more likely to hit the bump stops or even ride on them.

I'd agree with the slight rake. If you replace a rear pack, or do an AAL or whatever and kill your brain forever to get it level, that pack/leaf will eventually settle a bit and guess what...

Also, if you start adding a few things here and there, a bed mat, a cap, a tool box...it will start bringing it down faster.

    Towing, even more.

If I did mine over, I likely would have gone with Dakars (2.25) rather than the Wheelers 5-pack (1.5).

Like Boone said, you can do additional bags or Timbrens or whatever and dial it for specific loads, but that is also more effort and cost.

And yes, whenever you lift at all, you should adjust headlights to keep them out of the eyes of oncoming drivers (and so you can see better).

^^ one thing great about some of the newer tundras is they have a knob Inside to adjust the head lights. Great for towing heady stuff you can angle them down more or less when you need to.

My vote went for level because I'm not a fan of the rake. I'm not apposed to the "bro lean" or what its called here "doggin" lol, heck my truck sits a little higher in the front anyway.

But when you have a load in the bed, its not raked, assuming you use your truck as a truck, of course.

I have a job. You know, not all jobs require you to tow or haul things. Especially in your own personal vehicle. That being said, in my personal life I rarely load up the bed and only tow a trailer 3-4 times a year max. I like the look of level so I will likely go that route.
