Payback. I couldn't sleep last night because of this thread. My daughter randomly screamed at about 130 and when I went in to check on her she was fast asleep. After that it was eyes wide open time.

I just read an article about an Asian Unicorn today (no it does not shoot rainbows out of its ass). It's a large ox that looks like an antelope. This is the first sighting of this animal since 1999. There are approximately 300 of them left. Anyways, this thing has been sighted less often than bigfoot has, yet this is known to exist. If this Asian Unicorn exists with so little sightings, then surely bigfoot could.

Great post! Vietnam is supposed to be one of the worlds greatest example of biodiversity. There is so much shit they have discovered in the past 20years, and biologists say they have barely scratched the surface there. I guess the chinese have been eating and using rare animals for medicine out of there and laos forever and scientists are struggling to list endangered species to try and counter this. There definately could be some sort of undiscovered primates in that place.

I believe in Ghosts and Aliens, But i'm on the fence about big foot.

My mom swears when she was young and living in Kansas with my grandparents, That her, Her mother, her step father (who was a sheriff), her brother and sister were coming home late one night in the late 60s-early 70s (68-71) and as they were going down their long dirt driveway was a tall hairy figure running across and into the woods. My grandfather stopped... Grabbed his pistol and opened the door to get out, as soon as he got one foot out of the car they heard a loud growl where my grandfather pretty much said "nope", got in locked the door and they went back into town to get a few his buddies to make sure there wasn't anything around the house.

As for aliens, I'm almost sure I saw something that fits the profile... When I was about 7, I was being a little shit and fighting with my mom trying not to go to bed. The way the house was, the front door and porch was on the side facing a 6 foot tall fence to the neighbors house with the driveway curving to the side to the garage. There was a motion sensor light on the edge of the garage that was aimed to go off when someone would walk up the driveway... I remember arguing with my mom who was in the kitchen doing the dishes as I was in the living room arguing with her that I didn't want to go to bed... When I hear my dog going crazy in the backyard that he only usually does when someone comes over, And the motion sensor light turns on... I try to buy myself more time and am actually excited, seems like someone is coming over. So I yell to my mom that someones here as I'm walking to look out the window that overlooks the porch... It's about 10-11PM. I peek out the window and see a silhouette of something very tall, very very thin with long fingers and a large cranium with a narrow jaw. Slowly making its way to the porch, but not yet visible from the window but the shadow is from the spot light type motion light reflecting onto the fence.

I flipped out, I told my mom and that I was definitely not going to bed anymore because I was terrified. she passed it off as me trying to get out of going to bed. but the following morning the cars had hand prints that fit what I saw.

For ghosts... It's kind of gotten to a regular thing with my family. Since any of us could remember. We think that were more so haunted than the places we choose to live because the house I'm staying in right now is brand new, We bought it before it was done being built in 2008 and until a decade ago this entire area was just farm land...

I have a cat that is the definition of a pussy, When he gets scared he hides between my legs, if i'm sitting in my office chair he'll hide under me or if i'm holding him he'll try to hide his face between my arm and boobie... I live alone in the additional studio apartment/inlaw unit, It's 2 story with down stairs just being the front door, entry way and 1 car garage, The opening to the stairs kind of go around my bed with the staircase entrance on the side of my bed with my TV and desktop in sight. The stairs has a landing aswell that is visible from here...

One night, I'm sitting here on the computer and my kitty comes running up the stairs as fast as his fat ass can. Which isn't unusual for him but I hear much louder thuds along with his thuds, as if someone is stomping up the stairs chasing after him or being chased by him... Naturally my cat runs under my chair as I am turning to look down at him I see a older balding man in overalls staring at me from the landing... My eyes locked on him for a second as I was moving to look down before the lock broke and I kept moving. I froze... And when I looked back. There was nothing there.

When I go to bed, My cat likes to curl up next to me... As I was dosing off, I was facing the TV/computer/stairs with my back turned from the bathroom, balcony and walkway to the kitchen when I hear what sounds like someone dragging their feet across the carpet coming from kitchen towards me. My cat manages to make some odd sounds, so I thought nothing of it and figured it was my cat... Then it stops right behind me. I open my eyes and notice my cat is only a few inches from my face curled up on a pillow. But he's awake and he's looking over me with his ears perched back (they do this when they feel defensive)... Just when the thought of "uhhh....what" crosses my mind, I hear 3 coughs from right over me. Definitely male... My cat is no longer curled up and he has resorted to growling which freaked me out even more. After about 20 seconds he hops off the bed and i get the courage to turn around. Nothing was there.

Most recently (several months ago), I was coming home late as I always do on the weekends... I had decided to give the X-Runner the day off and drive the Impala. The Impala I park on the street while the X-Runner gets the garage... As I'm walking up the dark driveway, that curves to my section of the house, I hear a chain dragging on the floor coming from the side of the 2 car garage (which leads to the backyard entrance)... I think it's odd but i'm not going to investigate it at 3AM. So I keep going trying to act casual when I hear foot steps running towards me from the same direction, I snap my head to look and see a dark transparent figure running towards me like I was about to be tackled. I braced myself for impact by putting my head down, lifting my shoulders and putting my hands in a fist close to my chest... No impact but a very cold gust of wind. I walked quickly into my house and slept with the lights on...

My grandparents had 12 kids and they fostered another "kid"... He was apart of our family. They got him when he was 8 and took care of him ever since... He called me and all my cousins "nephew/niece" and we called him uncle as my dad and his siblings saw him as a brother... When he unexpectedly died by puking in his sleep at the age of 30 (2 years ago), We were all prepared to cover his final expenses (plot next to my grandmother, funeral, wake etc...)... But his biological sister claimed the body and enlisted a few of our "black sheep" cousins to keep the rest of our family away and from finding out anything about what happens to him.

None of us know where or if he was buried, But in that time... All of us were at war with eachother on facebook. My aunts, cousins, uncles, brother etc... Were all fighting trying to sound like the better person and trying to make everyone feel bad for his death. My uncle was gay, Out of all 30 or so cousins, I'm the only other "out" gay in the family. so I was fairly close... We would talk over text or facebook often. I had typed a mass message that I was going to send to everyone that would pretty much shut them all the hell up but would probably get my black listed from any other family event... Before I pressed the send button. A can of pepsi randomly exploded in the kitchen. I had set out a row of unopened cans to put in the fridge that was just sitting on the counter... They weren't in sun light, they weren't cold nor were they hot. They were room temperature... The can exploded outward which I thought was extremely weird. But having to clean it up before it dried and got sticky gave me added time to reconsider the message.

I'm not the only one in this house having odd experiences, In the main house. My dad, his wife, her daughter and my sister have all heard foot steps, lights turning on/off, doors slamming shut etc... This house has been blessed twice because of it. (i'm not religious)... I think my step sister(?) has even seen a figure of a man walking down the stairs in the main house.

The house before this one... Me, my sister and now ex were walking down the stairs passing a shelf with little figurines and artsy little things... With me in the lead, My ex behind me and my sister behind him he see's a bronze little car thing lift up into the air and hover for a second before being launched towards me. I thought they threw something that me... So when I turned around to say "WTF!" they were trampling over eachother to get back into my bedroom.

In that same house, My sister inlaw says she saw a little girl walk out of my bedroom and fade away.

The house before that one in Hayward (before my dad re-married). It was me, my mom, my dad, my uncle, my aunt, my sister and my oldest brother.

I was skipping class one day, sitting in my room home alone surfing AOL when it I heard 3 bangs, Like you would hear if someone was slamming their body against the thin door... It wasn't loud but you could hear it thud in multiple parts of the door a foot or so apart in sync... I thought someone was trying to scare me, So I went out and looked around the entire house and not a single person was found. So I thought someone was hiding, So I went back to my room to go back online but left my door open. After a few minutes, I heard foot steps coming up the hall to my room. So I leaned over to look at who will appear in my door way (the hallway ran diagonal to my room, but from across the hall to my room I can see part of the kitchen and family room), No one appeared... So I rolled my chair back to get up to look, the door slams shut and locks. I was terrified... I froze and then the same 3 bangs as before... I didn't come out until someone got home.

Another instance in that house, we all heard was the chairs in the dining room sliding across the floor. It was about a weekly thing... We had set up a recorder in a few places and had gotten a woman singing in the family room/kitchen and in my room glass breaking and a low deep growling.

Before I got set up with my own room as we were redoing the house. I had a bunkbed in my dads room... One morning during the summer, I woke up because it was freezing in the room. And I saw a woman standing at the foot of my bed staring back at me. she was glowing white, in a night gown with old styled hair. her eyes were black as were her eye lids and under her eyes... She had dark lipstick and she was smiling. She looked old, like in her 80s old... Several years later, when my mom was moving out of the house, We were going through some old pictures. and i found her... My great grandmother.

Again in that same house (I should mention by now, it's a few blocks from chapel of the chimes cemetery). My older brother was in a rebellious fad, Where he got ahold of some black magic books and some witch crafty thingies... and was trying them out in his room. None of us really knew about it, He kept it a secret and kept his room locked up. One day, I'm sitting at the kitchen table doing homework and I hear what sounds like a dog running up and down the hallway. The same hallway to my room... I think how strange my dog is in the house at this hour. I look at the hallway across is the laundry room and I see a animal looking thing. It looked like a person, but short (4' or so), pale white with some spots of fur but mostly naked and huge black eyes. It's is running on all 4s is all I saw of it for that 1 second. I thought I was going crazy... since it was about 2AM. So I just went to bed...

The hall runs across behind the kitchen, directly across the kitchen on the other side of the hallway is the laundry room and a bathroom, follow the hallway will be the front door, my moms bedroom, then in the other direction it leads straight to my uncle/aunts room with my room right next to it but my bedroom door is facing the side of the hall where a straight shot across is from the family room and other side of the kitchen.

I didn't think anything of it... A few weeks pass and I'm just casually walking to my room from the family room, crossing the hallway I see the guy thing again. But it's just standing in the middle of the hall. I glanced at it as I was walking at a decent speed and it didn't register at what I glanced at. I saw more features this time... It was grinning, it had yellow jagged teeth and no lips with small pointed ears and it was anorexic skinny. When it finally registered at what I saw, I froze in mid step... and heard foot steps running fast away from my room.

So, The next day as my mom sat at the kitchen table reading the news paper sipping her coffee. I asked if she has ever seen anything really weird in the house, Her eyes get wide and she says she has seen a little pale white deformed goblin looking thing walk into the kitchen stare her down for a seconds before fading away... I'm baffled and at a loss for words. I don't believe her, I ask her to describe it... and she described exactly what I saw but it revealed itself to her more clearly than it has to me. So we asked a few more in our house, and my brother confirms he's seen it standing in his door way... Little things were happening around that time to, Like little pranks. Things would go missing... My cell phone ended up in the fridge, All of the remotes went missing and had to be replaced. When we remodeled the house, we had a family friend running wires up in the attic and he says he heard something growling at him and felt scared, like a really bad vibes... he ignored them until a old beer can was thrown at his head. He didn't finish up the job alone, he had someone come and keep him company up there.

After we all moved out and it was just my mom and sister there... It became more active and aggressive. Things would get knocked over, chairs would fly away from the table as you sat there and the final straw was when my sister was taking a shower and she saw a shadow of something moving in the bathroom and felt a sharp pain on her back fat... She ran out and a bite mark appeared. They called a paranormal investigative group. They interviewed us all and said I was a "sensitive" or something like that. They determined there was indeed 3 spirits and 1 unknown thing in the house... They only got voices and knocking on recorder.

I have more but I'm getting tired of typing this novel...

 

^^ lol, The poltergeist activity and odd thingy majigger guy was in Hayward... We just get odd noises and apparitions here.

Another quick little odd thing... My grandmother died a few minutes after 5AM in 2008, We all knew she was going to die so we visited her until getting kicked out of the hospital about 11PM.

Everyone in my family that had visited her in her last hours, Woke up to a loud crash... For me it sounded like all of my dishes went crashing to the tile floor in my kitchen, Me and my ex both woke up and found nothing out of place... 3 minutes later, I get a text "grandma died". My dads household heard a loud crash, all of my aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers/sisters etc... all heard a crash at the same time we found out.

No ghosts, big feet, or aliens in VA or SC if anyone's wondering, lived in these places for many years and have never seen a thing, may be a great place for some of you to move to.
