Andy, the plan is to carry on as if I was normal and then ride the wheels off my motorcycles. In winter, I will spend my time generating sawdust.

Well I must agree with the rest of the comments here; having more fun after 50 (56) and life is good. My Taco sure helps make things easier in many ways; think they built them for us???????
I also recently purchased a Scion FR-S and there are quite a few over 50 folks purchasing them. Can you say VaROOOOOM!?
    Have a great Sunday All;)

Been moding this truck since last year June, it's a 05 I bought new and thought I'd start doing mods just before retireing last November. I'll be 58 at the end of this month. I am so glad I decided to do this as it is a project I have waited for since 05 and now I have time to do it only thing it's taking some of my retirement funds to get it like I want it, I keep saying ok this is the last mod I need to do and then there is another one I need (want) to do. But I'm having a great time. Thank's to TW for such a good forum I often refer to this site for information.

I am looking at 2026 also, but it will probably be more like 2046 before I can afford retirement.

I like your plan as well:)

    happy to do it!

    Andy:
I am busier now, doing things I want to do, than I ever was at work. I wonder how I got everything done around the house when I was working.

I'd retire today if I could afford it. What's your take on when to start drawing SS. They say wait till you are 70 but what if you die then you lose all that money you put into it don't you?

I still like my job so work isnt bad, I think I can handle another 13 years or so. I just need to sneak out a few bucks here and there for mods and pay bills and figure a way to pay for the kids college and buy food and put away for retirement. My mom is still around, that is a whole new window on what happens when you get old

Mntbiker, what games do you play on your XBox? And I presume you play against folks online? Why I ask is because I've been thinking of getting one of there new releases after Christmas?
Madden, one of the driving games, and call of duty if I do
