Could be a Ujoint going out, could be a few things, the more info the better to find the problem

Go under the truck with a large pry bar and carefully start prying the trans mount looking for rips in the rubber mount . If the trans mount is solid , move to the engine mounts and carefully pry . Move to the diff and leaf springs . a good visual look at the drivetrain will usually give you clues as to where the clunk is coming from. I see you have a lift on the truck . Great idea to look at universal joints as posted above .

GOD that sounds horrible !!! yeah you DEF have some loose shit somewhere in drivetrain, sounds like something shifting around like..maybe a trans mount like you suggested but do the usual checking of driveline from rear diff to hell i dunno all the way to where trans bolts to block... don't laugh I've seen it before, transmission with 2 half loose bolts holding it together, that explained some really rough shifts...

does the carrier bearing seem worn out? i replaced it less than a year ago and only has like 8k miles on it.. cheap to replace so i guess no big deal if it is

Hmmm, clunk in 2wd goes away in 4wd shit that doesn't narrow it down, kinda widens it haha j/k

Ya know, theres a member here somewhere that had this issue , trying to remember who it was, keep looking & I'll ask around a bit myself

Does it make a noise like that when you go from reverse straight to forward? Defiantly something unloading then taking load on again.

Put the truck in neutral. Flat area ebrake on. Wiggle the drive shaft back and forth Zoom in on each u joint. wiggle your tcase flange and rear pinion if none of the Ujoints are moving. If the truck is not in neutral your Driveshaft will seem solid.

If your joints and pinions are solid. Strap your camera aiming at your transmission mount turn on video record and drive it see how much your trans mount is flexing.
