No they don't. They just ask questions and have others do the work for them instead of taking the extra minute to hit the previous page to see if there has been any discussion on time frame

 

Why not keep Canada in Canada and the US in the US. My recipient is gonna get a cardboard box filled with air because in gonna spend $60 on shipping

 

Don't do that. Did that last year, and it didn't go over very well.

You sign up for a gift exchange - there's nothing that says the gift will go to your state or half way around the world. Don't want to pay postage, then don't sign up.

I'm not keeping track of who is willing to ship farther. We are going to give people someone in another state to keep it spaced out. I didn't specify which state, and if they don't want to ship, I can use the backspace key fairly easily with my right pinky

 

What I've done in the past is order from somewhere only that has cheap or free shipping and send the package from there. Amazon has a ton of stuff and often times free shipping. Yeah you're not wrapping it yourself but it's easier and cheaper than sometime buying from a store and shipping yourself. Just a thought for some of you guys who are worries about shipping.

 

I like to send a note though..least so they know who its from..

x2. thus the title secret santa. Although, in years past, the person always included a clue which led me to figure out who sent it. But yeah, trying to figure out who stalked you and got you the gift is half the fun!

 

Eh..i like letting the guy/gal know i guess..Gift i got was also signed..its nice to know who to say thanks too...maybe thats just me..
