    The next ride scheduled is...

    When: Sunday Dec 15, 2013
Where: Noble Canyon - Weather permitting.

I'll need some feedback from those interested. I'm thinking we could meet at the Los Coches McDonald's on 13574 Camino Canada El Cajon CA 92021. From there, we can caravan to the lower parking lot and only take the necessary cars (Tacomas) to the top to start the ride. It's a couple of hours of riding most downhill. This trail is lot of fun.

I also included a picture from years ago when I rode Noble during winter. Yes there was snow, but only at the top. It was a beautiful up there.

I'm interested. I'll let my other buddy know about it too. I'd prefer after 1PM because of church in the morning.

I also attend church but will probably go to an evening service just so we can get a head start in the morning. I was thinking about starting the ride itself no later than 10AM. Which means we should be meeting up at the McDonald's no later than 8:30. Be at the lower parking lot by 9 (transfer bikes and people) and then to the top by 10. With that being said, we should be done around noon. Perhaps grab some lunch as we're caravanning back on the 8 West if you all are down. Perhaps In-N-out or something along those lines. We'll iron out the details soon. For now, save the date.

Awesome Video Grant. That looks like a totally different trail at Noble. Nonetheless... a lot of fun for sure. I can't wait.

ya the beginning was part of BLT we rode last year. we can ride that if we want to get more miles in. Noble is only 10-11miles I believe. BLT can add 7-10 depending on what you do.

I'm from San Bernardino area but would love to check out some new trails down there. How long is the trail overall and trail dog friendly?

2 hr mostly downhill and I'm sure some would say its dog friendly, but in my opinions its not. However, there are a number of trails that would make it friendly if you were not headed downhill. If you stay up at the top, you'd be alright. There are some rocky edges.

I can't make that one. If it were a little later, I might be able to. Hollenbeck... haven't been there in a long time. Get ready for the hills.

It was a good ride. The recent rain made it nice because there was no dust flying around in the air. The hills weren't too bad, but my rear chain was still giving me issues by hopping off inward. I'm definitely going to go back and do a bigger loop because my buddy and I thought we were on the right track but took a left too early (we were going counter clockwise).

    Did you go riding?

UPDATE for the ride this Sunday…
First off, how are you guys feeling about the ride coming up? We haven't established a time yet. IMO, the earlier the better. I didn't know my boss was planning the Christmas party that afternoon (1PM). I'll be cutting it close as its a family oriented party in which my kids would definitely want to part take.

It's been freakishly clod lately and its only colder at the top of Sunrise Highway. Weather for that Sunday around Mt Laguna is a high of 60 and a low of 40.

    You guys still on?
