Thanks for the info. The 5100's do provide lift at least the set I am looking at and I dont think my stock suspention is shot i put 31.5in tires on so it took up more of the clearance my truck only as 107,000 on it. So you think go with a leaf pack like deaver? instead of a bud built or pro comp traction bar?

5100s only provide lift in the front by either pre loading your stock coils, or by using longer/ higher spring rate aftermarket springs. The rear 5100 shocks do nothing for lift. They are longer to accommodate a lifted rear end, but don't do anything for the lift itself.

No shocks provide lift. Period. The shocks you're are looking at probably say something along the lines of "Works with 0"-3" of lift"

5100s in the rear do not provide lift. They can accommodate up to a 3" lift, but don't give you a 3" lift. You need a new leaf pack, shackles, or blocks to lift the rear. And FWIW, my stock suspension was shot at less than 70k miles.

I have axle wrap as well now that my leafs with an add-a-leaf have began to sag again. I'm hoping new leafs will remedy most of my problems, and maybe somehow my shaking at 50mph....

5100s won't provide any lift in the rear. For the front, yes but it seems your trouble is with the rear axle.

If it were me, I'd try a new set of leafs instead of a traction bar. The stock ones aren't the greatest and don't age well.

Technically, the 5100s provide lift in the front but that is due to them being a part of a strut assembly and having an adjustable spring perch. But that is "technically". The shock itself is not the strut.

Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build

For that price you could get 5 MV-50s. One for each tire and a spare.

But in all seriousness, I've been very pleased with mine for the price.

Haha yeah I was hoping that nobody would try to say something about adjustable spring perches or coilovers. Still not the shock though as you said.

Honestly, my MV50 for $45 hasn't let me down.

    Even filled up a dude's 33s from 18 psi to 32 psi.

With 33s though, you might want a beefier compressor. I dunno.

    Did that help?

Yeah I'm just looking for something that's good & very reliable.
I'll take a look into that compressor

That definitely helped. Beefier? Sounds like both your Q Industries MV50 and the VIAR 450P are beefy enough
