First time going to the base club and actually drinking. That was an odd experience.

 

Base clubs are not what they were 15 to 20 years ago.

 

WUT??? It's gluten free.

 

If I was smarter, and had endless financial resources, we probably would. Lower 48 always feels crowded to me...at least the places where I could get gainful employment.

We'll see if she commits to installing it ... or if she's going shopping again. Wish the old one would give up the fight...that would move the process along.

 

Really I am. I do know where you're coming from. Same way Kristi gets when my buddies start talking about Bear Bait stations.

OTG always reminds me of this: One of the airmen who worked for me used to call me Sgt OG. My boys thought that was hilarious; took to calling me by it from time to time.

I understand the "need" for hunting (reduce the size of herds), but cheating with baiting them is just plain wrong.

For a moment I thought you we're saying I could help along the rudeness in a big city somewhere...an easy mistake as my OG grumpiness is sometimes mistaken for rudeness. But hey, I earned that badge...can't help it my tolerance for idiocy lessens as I age.

And I have considered helping the old faucet along.

I agree on the bait stations...never seemed very fair or sporting. I'm amazed at how popular it is up here. I will never harm a bear unless they threaten my life or life of someone else. If I did without justifiable reason...Kristi would me ... and probably a lot worse.

Have a great Sunday folks. Think I'll get a nap while Kristi and the grandkids are out having breakfast with one of her friends visiting from Fairbanks; they drive back today. Got home from work in time to help get the kids dressed and headed out the door.
