    Pretty much that.

You need the tank above a 45 degree angle to actually use.

And the tank is big and kinda awkward.

    Totally worth it.

I'm just here for the CO2 talk. Don't mind me. If anyone wants me to test their setup in the cold, I'll gladly accept. I'll even throw in some salmon or muktuk.

As long as your lines are completely sealed and you have no leaks, then the outside temp won't matter. My adjustable regulator isn't built to handle C02, so it freezes up in cold weather. I just need to buy a static regulator and that will be fixed.
Haha yeah... I should have checked it before I left I guess. Not that I would have had time to fill it anyways.

Haha I'll order a new regulator and test it when it's 15* out here. Will that work?

Interesting I didn't think they lasted that long. From playing paintball I remember never having enough Co2 lol.

At some point im going to put a belt driven compressor in mine its the cheapest all around way to do it. $200 bucks or so. But it no where near as simple as picking up a co2 tank and dropping it in the toolbox.

Yea custom mounting brackets. Plus you have to fight with oiling it in and stuff. And motor has to be on..

    But still works.

Yeah, that's my issue. Mine is a welding regulator, which is nice so I can change between different psi for tools or whatever. But I can't use it in temps below 50* realistically.

What psi is your static regulator set at?

Hmm, that's what I want then. I didn't know they made them.

What psi do you usually have yours set to when airing up tires?

Haha yeah I found it now.

What's your opinion on air chucks? I just have a generic one, but was wondering if a "high flow" would actually make any difference.

Eh I just have the coil hose and an arb inflator and it works good. 18 seconds to fill my tires up or so. Fast enough for me haha

Where did you get the info on how a dual electrode sparks? They can't spark across the dual electrodes. Both are ground, and connected to each other on the threads. Spark still fires from the center electrode to one or both of the dual tips. You can't create a spark between two common grounds.

My friend did the same thing and has run his for 6 or 7 years now.

I'm running 33x12.5s (air down to 15psi and air back up to ~30psi) and my MV-50 beats my ARB every time. I usually race them, one on the driver's side and the other on pass. I'd say that the 50 is almost 1.5 time faster.

NOW... if you want a real beast of an air compressor, this is the one you want. You can run your air tools off of one of these.
