Exactly, that's why I don't understand why people get mad when the mods come down on TW. A simple google search would get you all the TnA your little heart desires.

Oh I could share some links that you can't un-see hahaha

Usually when I've seen that happen it's not instantly, so there's been a certain amount of happy horseshit tolerated before it goes too far..

If anyone knows how to fix a Keurig machine, I've got one you can have. It worked last Saturday, then on Sunday it wouldn't. It stopped pushing water through randomly, it just cycles the water back into the tank. I tried fixing it but didn't get anywhere with it. It's a commercial version so the warranties are a little different, Keurig wouldn't help us and I wasn't about to pay a tech to come out and fix it. If you want it, all yours. It's about 2 years old.

If I recall you need to flush them vinegar to kill mineral build up or some thing. My GF saw something on pintrest and cleaned my perfectly functional keurig... I didn't know why my coffee tasted like a bag of chips the next morning however.

Yep. My GF didn't realize that and I couldn't figure it out until I asked her if my coffee tasted weird lol. She never told me she flushed it haha.

You're absolutely correct. I have to de-scale it every 2 - 3 months, the contacts get some scaling on them largely because of the minerals in the city water. Usually, if I notice it running slower, I de-scale it with vinegar and it's back to normal. This is different, Saturday it worked fine, Sunday it wouldn't even run water through it. I left vinegar in it all week, trying to cycle it through every couple hours. In a week, I managed to get it to cycle about 2 ounces through it (and that's pushing the button who knows how many times). There's definitely something going on with it and I don't know how to fix it. If it was a residential Keurig, they'd actually warranty it but because it's a commercial unit, I'd have to pay a tech to come out and look at it. It was given to use as a house warming present so we didn't even know it was a commercial unit until I called and asked for help.

The new one we bought actually has a replaceable charcoal filter which should help with the city water scale build up.

Get a paper clip and clean out the 2 needles that pierce the cup when it's in the machine. It may take a little while but it will work..mine has done the same thing. Just a little patience and it will work.

Even if you descale, this can still happen..the needles are so thin inside that a little bit of coffee in there can really back things up. Then just run it with a little water..do it again..repeat. Never took me more than 30 minutes to get mine cleared.

    Very true.
    Charcoal filter makes sense.

Speaking of this I should probably clean mine so it doesn't plug up haha.
