    So, I thought about buying one of those hood cb antenna mounts and looking into using them as led pod mounts. I know it would need some reinforcement, but I think it could work...

    Yeah, being too far forward was my only thought. Wasn't too worried about having to unbolt them to open the hood.

    Plus there is no benefit to having them mounted there..

    Haha the benefit to me would be good side fills just behind what fog lights would light up. Similar to your mirror lights. No benefit huh? ;)

    Mirror lights are angled out and much further back then those would be.

    I have a write up in my sig..build some mirror lights..be better in the long run.

    Or just wait till you have roof rack and mount some up there.


    Or make something that mounts them closer and allows full use of the hood.

    My mirrors are motorized, and if I remember correctly there isn't enough room for them.

    And I don't plan to have a roof rack either.
