Just as I realized what had come up with the matate my gf who was about 3o yards away right on the shoreline let out a shriek of pain I went over & this is no shit, she had a small but fairly deep laceration in the palm of her hand & in her palm was a nice quartz birdspoint that according to her "jumped" from her left hand (shes a southpaw like me)& embedded itself in to her right palm.. Obviously i felt a rush of cold & every hair from my ass to my elbow stood up, that was it for her, as we sat there focused on her wound, out of the corner of my eye , actually OUR eyes because we looked at the same time, there was some guy , less than I'll say 40ft away from us , walking with a walking stick & he was dressed in what could only be a very old boy scout outfit (WTF!) He took 1 quick glance at us , looked away & kept walking....

Keep in mind, the lake is closed, there was no one anywhere, no bicycles, motorcycles, cars parked , its a closed day, theres a big pipe gate that you cant get around, its mid morning on a clear day, where we are there is absolutely nowhere to hide , theres no cover other than the little rockpile I was at, where in hell did this guy come from ?? He quite literally materialized out of the dirt & dissappeared the same way, because of the sparse shoreline he could've been a 1/4 mile away & you'd see him no problem

 

So despite the weirdness we just had we left so she could clean her injury & determine if she needed a stitch, it bled like hell too...

Late in the afternoon my dam keeper buddy stopped by the house on his way back to the lake, we talked about what happened & he seemed kinda disinterested in the whole thing, ummm ok , he tells me that the evening bite has been great & tells me to come back out if i want, ya'll know i love to fish so after clearing it with the boss she said i could go so I show up at about 8 pm to fish but now my buddy isn't feeling so good & this other friend of his is there & still wants to fish so we go down to the dock get my buddys boat & start trolling shiners & getting some nice fish, after a couple hours the bite shuts off & we're just sitting there about 200 yards from shore in any direction & this guy who I kinda know but not real well starts talking to me about off the wall shit he sees out there all the time (he lived about 2 miles away as the crow flys) But he's not talking about Indian spirits or dudes popping out of the dirt, he's talking about things in the sky, so I say "Like what ?" & he goes on to talk about multiple "crafts" fly this way & that way, bobbing,weaving, doing all the crazy hard right 90 degree turns shit all the things i talked about before..

Theres a little silence & then he says "oh check it out, they're here"..

I look up , let my eyes adjust a little & i see not 1 or 2 of these objects but about 6 or 7 of the most bizzarr flying UFO's , just like you'd see on some scifi thing, seemingly flying randomly then one or 2 would just haul fucking ass & so obliviously not a traditional aircraft private or military just stop in place do the 90 degree thing & take off in another direction, I was speechless but he kept talking to me "don't freak out its military shit"

I just don't know but considering what happened earlier I'd say that no they're not ours or anyone elses either if i had to make a determination

but this wasn't shit compared to what was going to take place in about an hour from then

Looks like you have one of the more rare forms of sleep paralysis where you hear scary shit. Least you don't see them. That's what a lot of scientist think is the cause of abduction cases as its sleep paralysis with the visual nightmares.
I used to get sleep paralysis. The main trigger would be a dream where I am floating. Whether floating in thin air or on water it would trigger it and even if it was a peaceful dream. When I hear things, it's usually a crinkly type noise like someone is rubbing a plastic grocery bag together. I would have a weird experience sometimes like your pillow slapping and that would be a feeling like I was dropped a few inches onto my bed. If I'm really tired, I used to hear conversations in garbled languages but I think that was sleep deprivation

It's been happening to me for about 10 years now

Not your typical sleep paralysis, where you are mentally out of the dream, yet your body is still asleep; but, similiar:
In my dream, I will realize that I'm dreaming and try to wake myself up...
I'll start screaming, shaking my head, and slapping myself in the face, while in the dream, to try to wake myself; but, can't
it's pretty freaking terrifying sometimes

There was one time I literally jumped out of bed, woke up on my feet, and was staring at the wall in front of me; which, for about 10 seconds after opening my eyes, had a kaleidoscope of images of me screaming in a panic and smacking myself, from the dream I just came out of

The one I had last night was the first one I've had in quite a while
I used to get them so frequently I dreaded going to sleep... sometimes I wouldn't

I live alone and as I was reading this thread yesterday evening, I kept hearing my medicine cabinet open and close. I'd get up to take a look and see nothing. Might just be my imagination? One of the times I got up to inspect I noticed my cat seemed spooked. His eyes were wide open and in a pose as though he was getting ready to run. Would make you think he saw a dog in the house and I have no dog.

Ive got a lot of cathing up to do from over the weekend.

I havent ever had any weird experiences or sightings but my wife says she has seen lots of ghosts. The most recent one being at her work.
She works in a building that use to be on an old military air strip. There was a pilot that had crashed and died there and her and a few other co workers say they will see him down at the end of the long hallways at night wearing his green flight suit.
To further the story, we were at a museum downtown a while back and there were some old pictures and they had a picture of the guy that crashed and died and pics of the plane crash. It freaked her out.

Yup, but mine is about 13-14 years old and pretty laid back.

 

One way I get out of it is I start breathing, but I start taking deep breaths, and I try to hold them if I can. Then once I know I'm in control of my breathing, I try to move my foot left and right like rocking myself until I shake myself outta it. It hasn't happened to me in a while, but that's been the only way I've been able to wake up so to speak. And yea I usually end up being extremely tired and that's when it happens. I always think demon sitting on top me or something scary lol. At least I haven't seen anything. Well I saw like a blob thing once when I was sick with a fever (again hallucinations) and I grabbed my pillow and tried to snuff it out I remember lol. I think my dad came and laid down with me after he heard commotion or I yelled for mom lol. I was really small.

 

I went to my Mother-in-Laws house last night. When the door opened I thought I saw a Sasquatch but it was just her. I kid. I kid.

Sounds like astral projection, I used to experience this alot when younger, last time it happened was probably 4 or 5 years ago with the same sensation you describe above, I used to hover about 30 or 40ft in the air right above my back yard, was it real ? Or a dream ? If it weren't for the fact that the sensation of being dropped back into bed waking me up, I'd say it was a dream, but thats not the case so I just can't 100% be sure
