    i did man!!

as long as you have OEM tundy axles, and OEM tacoma axles, the spline counts will match up and it will work.

i have about 5 trips on them so far and no problems!

he offered to fix it, but hes saying i should put a link on there to control the axle wrap.

uhh, no. if the pivots werent a quarter inch off i wouldnt have these issues in the first place.

im not sure if im going to take it back to him or do it with a buddy.. gotta think that one over.

Mounts being a 1/4" off isn't going to make axle wrap worse

It makes weird shit happen for sure. The axle tries to straighten itself, putting one spring in tension and stretching the other horizontally. Mine was off about 1/8", took me a while to figure it out.

My old set up was over 1/2 off and I never even noticed , leafs move around so much as they cycle they are a bit forgiving on small differences like 1/4"

    check my build
So need some suggestions here guys (fabricators) on what u think i should do about the back of my cab being split all the way across. the whole bottom is split across and i need to fix it asap. now i know the best route would be to cage the truck so the cab doesn't flex and causing the split to get worse, but i don't have the funds for that right now. so any good ideas? (EDIT: as seen I've tried welding/stitching it back together before and it doesn't hold)
Heres some pics of the "splits":

Sorry this shot is sideways. by the bottom corner driver side

    worse split is this one

Any help would be great guys!

Plate it all the way across. Possible to plate both sides ? These cabs are thin as shit.
