Icon Coil-overs, TC UCA, with Bilstein 5150 and Icon 3 leaf pack. 17" Moto Metal 951 4.5" Backspacing wrapped in 285/70/17 BFG AT's. Demello front bumper and Avid offroad sliders.
Looks like they may help the leafs from not sagging. But I dunno I've never seen that before.

thanks for the comments dude. here's what i've done under the truck:

5100's in front with OME 885 coils
    TC UCA's
    Diff drop
    CB drop
    Axle shims from toytec
    Spidertrax spacers all 4 corners
5125 shocks in the rear with toytec's AAL. (if i could do this over i would have gotten a full leaf pack rather than just an AAL.)

The tires were already on the truck when i bought it, but i think they run aprox $200/tire. give or take. They perform awesome offroad..they've treated me well in the mud/sand/desert. I had the same tires on my last truck, with the same results. Another note, i've probably had at least 6 nails/screws stuck in these tires, pulled them out, and no leak. They do have some noise to them, a slight humm - but nothing obnoxious.

Ok...all my research is running together now. The 5100/885 combo was a close runner-up for me because it would save about $100.

I am told by several the N140S shocks are a bit softer than the 5100's but have the same capabilities. Coming from a 1st gen that made my teeth chatter, this will be a nice change.

Any reason why you would prefer the full leaf pack? More lift? Softer ride? I've considered it but that add's a few hundred bills to the total cost. Nice choice with the TC UCA's. I am going to install and see if I have problems. Those would be the route I would go.

ive been told the OME shocks ride better too, but i went with the billys for the price. i think the full leaf pack would give me more flex, and improve the ride - my ass end is pretty bouncy right now.. and my leafs are starting to flatten out because of the crap i put my truck through (see sig, lol)

Are the spidertrax spacers needed to run 265s with a 3"? I think not but I just wanna make sure.

It's a spacer lift; not the best quality, but definitely better than any body lift.

Why is it that a spacer lift isn't really a good idea?

Got 285/75/17's on 17x9 rims. Did have an alignment done after everything was done. Truck rides good and I dont have any pulling or vibration problems.

Thanks! I was thinking of going with a 6" lift but as i get older it gets harder to climb up! 3" was a happy medium.

Right on! So with the Revtek kit did you do anything else? I understand it comes with the diff drop and add a leaves and that afterwards it will need an allignment but was there anything else? Do those tires rub at all?

I did have to trim inside the fenderwell a little. And needed to remove the front mud flaps but trying to figure out a way to modify them to go back on. Did add the diff drop spacer. My kit came with blocks for the rear, no springs. This truck is more for looks. Dont take it off road. I bought a Toyota pickup back in 1990 brand new and still have it today. 19 years and still going strong. That's my off road truck. Think you can see it in my picture off to the left.

Ok thanks for the info, my truck will be pretty much for looks too, the dirt bike is what gets used off road. That setup sure turned out nice.
