As per the title, I'm looking to sell an '02 Xtracab with plenty of options. The full story is that my brother-in-law inherited this car from his dad (original owner) last year when he took a turn for the worst. Since my in-law isn't much of a car guy, I promised I'd help him bring the car back to it's former glory and sell it to someone who will give it the treatment it deserves. This car was his dad's pride and joy since the day he pulled it from the lot. He took great care of it and planned to run it until the wheels came off. We've got an ad on Cars.com (link below) with 15 pictures and I can text more on request. It would mean a lot to him to sell this car to someone who had the same enthusiasm for these trucks that his dad did so I can't think of a better place to list. The truck is located in central Indiana but we'd be willing to meet up within reasonable range for a serious buyer. This is not a daily driver so mileage will be close. KBB has it valued at $12,800 and we've been asking $12,000 OBO. I'd feel more comfortable if someone here at TW was interested so if you call or email the info on the listing (my info) just let me know you're from the forums and I'll sell for $10,800. Details are listed on the ad but I'll give a few quick highlights:

    3.4L V6
    Automatic
    TRD
    SR5
    4WD
    116,xxx miles
    Bedliner
    Running Boards
    265/70/16 Michelin LTX all around

    Full listing with photos:

My info is also listed on the ad, but you can call or text me at (317) 7.9.7-6-3-1-6

Thanks. I'm a VW guy but I know the power of forums, better if the truck goes to someone who actually appreciates it. My brother in law wanted to throw it in Craigslist for $3,000 before I caught him.

You need to post the pics in the thread. Not a link.

The seller rules say photos may either be attached or embedded.

Nice truck, but seems a little over priced. Comparable ones have sold for less than $9000. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the input in a completely non-sarcastic way.

Honestly pricing was a hard point to find on this for me. My best estimate based on KBB and searching around for others with the same equipment led me to think $12k was pretty reasonable. I have one fella low ball me hard and tell me he found the exact same truck for $8k so I offered to price match it plus take $100 off if he could show me an ad with the same equipment for cheaper anywhere in the US. Never heard from him again. All that being said, I made it $12k because I hate haggling yet people systematically find a way to ignore "firm" labeling on the price. I'm wide open to reasonable offers, it's pretty much just garage clutter for my purposes. I just ask that for the love of god, don't insult my intelligence.

You've done neither. You just posted a link, that's not embedding. Rules state you are allowed to link to another site, but still must post a pic.
    Just saying...

GLWS. I wish I would of caught it when your brother posted it to CL. :D
