Went down to Adams hawaii oh snap walked out with some stuff to fix the itched paint. $400 worth. No more muding at kaena for me. Let you know how it turns out.

Maybe open up my Tacoma detailing shop. If you going down u should get this swirl and haze remover. The guy tried it on my truck and it disappeared. I will take 8 hours to do my truck with a buffer. So don't own a buffer and that will mean a lot of elbow grease to do. Got too much itches on the paint so picked up the buffer and starter kit.

 

damn that mud really messed up you guys with the dark paint. i just pressure washed mines off and no etching.

 

Yeah bought the same kit. He said he'll give 10% discount. Just gotah mention TACOMA WORLD.



Missing the paint finishing polish. He forgot to put it in my bag. Going back tomorow to pick it up.

I did. Just strong stream of water and wash mitt.

 

cleaned it yesterday...and will have to do it again today..along with another bath.

I noticed driving home last night after washing, it was a lot easier, guess I picked up a heftly amount of mud

 

Wonder how Miles is doing with the adams detail kit?

Just cleaned truck again cleaned engine bay again. Shoot under the cab mount chop area thanks to TXnovice idea plenty crap came out. Another area if you cut into your front fender shoot water in there too plenty mud came out. You might want to drop your spare tire probably you going to find mud and sand there too. Now back to cleaning going to try my new buffer out

 

I'm not that worried about the paint right now... I noticed a low speed growling/rubbing sound from my front end on the drive home. Still makes the noise even after the wash. Might be a wheel bearing? Even with the truck in neutral and me pushing and walking next to it, I can hear it. Only during really low speeds tho. Sound more like it's coming from the diff. Like just barely rolling

 

I dropped my stock skid plate, mud pile.

Looks like the Dakar leafs are in your near future.. But check to see if you can get a warranted free stock set first. you do have a 13 right???

Might be the needle bearing that I hear guys complaining about? East coast gear supply makes a bushing and a tool to replace it.

 

I shot mine down and cleaned it with some simple green. When I was done, I went to close the hood, looked up to grab the hood prop bar, and realized nearly the entire bottom of the hood was also covered in mud
