:woot: You decided on Icons:D See I occassionally know what I am talking about:p Personally I think they are the best bolt-in coilover option for 2nd gens.

I just realized i never did an alignment when i went to 886 coils... no pulling/ or wear issues so i will call myself lucky with my stock UCA's!!! FTW!

I like the idea of not having to worry about preload. I do worry about how long the seals will last though. When a coilover blows a seal and needs rebuilt, the coil holds you up and you drive home. If an airshock blows a seal you might as well not have a shock in there... I did some reading around and it sounds like that happens somewhat frequently to people too on like sand rails and trailer queen crawlers.

    hmm...yea..that would suck...

however, saw Jerry talking about that in Jon's thread. I guess ORI puts their top seals in all of their stuff now..so should last a long time..

maybe you should keep your 5100s/886s in the tool box..haha

Jerry had one set in and I was still debating between ORI's or Icons and I figured what the hell let's give the ORI's a try just to see how the run. I went with 8's since I won't be LT'ing the front anytime soon. Then I can just sell them and get some longer ones if I like them or go back to a C/O if I don't like them, when I go LT. Besides if I go with the Solo LT kit I would probably want 12's or 14's. haha

Sorry man... these 5100's have a few years on your Taco even and they aren't ideal for what I do. Plus the 886's cant hold the weight up anymore. I'm just too heavy. I need more clearance for all the rocks my skids get stuck on.
    I'd probably do the same:cool:
