You think the Pats D is better than the Broncos D? Are you completely retarded?

Did you just watch that game?

Maybe you really do just watch whats on SC.

Fkn Ridley..if he held onto that ball I would figure we get a field goal there anyways..which on the last drive means a field goal wins it.

That said, anyone who saw the replay and didn't see the Panthers defender with both arms around Gronk hauling him out of the end zone is just nuts.

I'd have to give the check mark to the Broncos D over the Pats. And that's not just because I hate NE.

I'd normally agree, but Gronk was nowhere near the ball. I do think if the refs throw a flag there should be a call, but in that case I don't see it, and if we got that call then won people would think less of us than if we just take the loss. It's fine, were 15-1 after the bye week, 15-2 now, we're still doing way better than predicted and Vereen looks great. We'll be fine.

Yup.., that's hard to remember sometimes. But the refs tonight were very fair, no complaints.

    Bone stock for now....
Let's just agree there was no foul. Throwing the flag was unnecessary. Walking off the field with no explanation to either team why it was thrown in the first place and subsequently picked up, also unnecessary.

I'm a Pats fan, the Panthers deserved to win this game WITHOUT the officials mucking it up.

The NFL loves to brag about parity. What parity really means is one bad call can change a game. This may not be a bad call to some, the officials could have been better in how they handled it.

Cam and his team played very well and we had to listen to a post game discussion about the officials and instead of the panthers.

I'm kind of tired of it actually.

Bronco's beat Chief's D, one of the top ranked in the NFL this year. Panther's took a won with a top ranked D and rookie QB.

I don't foresee an issue with Bronco's taking a win next week. All the talk during the commentary about how Brady knows this and Brady's comfortable here and Brady has this going for him in this game...its useless, needless commentary that needs to be shut down just like Panther D shut down Patriot O. Brady is not comfortable, nor did he look it.

Chiefs are a great team this year, got beat. Bronco's also a great team this year but got beat. I believe that that the only team that could have beaten the Chiefs and will keep doing so is the Bronco's O line. I think the team with enough drive and determination to beat the Bronco's will only be Indy, just based on principal.

Win or lose next weekend, there will be some serious shit talking in this thread....keep it clean so we don't get shut down.

Speaking of getting shut down, can anyone tell me why Talib didn't get ejected? WTF was up his ass today?

Talib should have been gone. He was a complete asshole, got beat, and got pissed for getting beat, then have up yards because of his emotions instead of thinking about the next play. You can't do that , especially against the panthers where you knew if it was a win it would have been a tight game. Like I said, gotta give it to the panthers, they destroyed our o line, gave Brady no time, and won the game. Us not being able to catch didn't help, but that's nothing new. Next week will be a good game, win or lose, can't wait to see it.

Yes, because he was being manhandled away from the ball.

Sure, once the refs throw the flag there's a call of some kind I agree. That said, I think it can be traced back to Ridley choking it up..and I didn't see it but heard Talib was being a jackass

Panthers fan here. I think thought they played good and the defense is for real. Ginn also played good tonight. It's too bad they left to much time on the clock for Brady. And for the record, I think that was a questionable call at best. But when you leave it up to the refs, that's what happens.

GO PANTHERS 6 IN A ROW!!!

Bottom line is this...... Pats aren't the team they were doing their "super" years.

it sucks, I hate thinking about it, but it should never have been that close. Their D put good pressure on Brady all game, and we all know how much he loves that, especially with an O line like swiss cheese this year. I'm satisfied with the game though, Brady did a good job, he made good passes, moved well in what shitty pockets he was given, and ultimately just didn't win. Someone has to win, and someone has to lose, unfortunately it wasn't in the cards for us. We knew it would be a tough game, and fuck, we put 20 points on a team who gives up 12.5 points on average. Brady moved the offense pretty much at will the whole game, again, like the rest of the season, it comes down to inexperienced offense, who don't run great routes, and fail to pick up yards after the catch. KT had a good play, Gronk had a good play, Amendola had a good play, and Edelman had a good play, unfortunately, one good play from each of them is not going to win games for us, especially this coming sunday. Vereen looked awesome, like he was never out for 8 weeks, and that's something to look forward to, as Brady looked good too. I've been saying this all season, but I think its time to give Ridley's job to Blount. That guy was a monster last night, we just didn't use him until Ridley had already fucked us severely. Talib was an asshole. There is no reason to anything he did to steve smith, his job is not to go fistfight the other teams best receivers, its to shut them down. He's been doing a good job, but looked horrible for the few plays he was in for last night, before Bill pulled him. After that, we blew coverage, failed to make tackles, gave the panthers unearned yards, and again, left the fattest part of the bill on Brady to try to make up in the last 55 seconds. We cant keep doing that, period. If we didn't have Brady, and he wasn't the leader he is, with the skill he has, I really think we'd be looking at 3-7. So, 7-3 is still good, when we won the SB in 2001, we were like 10-6 or some ridiculous thing, so losing last night wasn't the end of the world, and really wasn't even a divisional loss. Even if we lose next week, im fairly confident we come out at 12-4, if we win, 13-3. There are a lot of teams in the NFL that would give their testicles for that record, and to go to the playoffs. So, while it sucks, i'm not that concerned, our offense continues to do well for the most part, and defense is either really good, or really horrible, we just gotta keep working on it, that's all we can do.

the best part about that is, were still winning.

    11-5 in the 01 season..

And absolutely coffeesnob, anyone who argues that would be a simpleton in my eyes.

As I've said all along, they should win the division given there's not much depth there..maybe even get a 1st round bye in the playoffs. Don't see them doing much there, much as I wish I could say otherwise

Idk what to say about playoffs. We could go far, we could be out in one game. This season has been so inconsistent anything can happen.

Just take out dunver and I'll be happy. Knock those turds back into the #5 slot in the conference so they'll have to go on the road in the playoffs.
