Buying used electronics is like buying used tires or suspension - you just don't do it and if you do it had better be almost free.

So they should of taken the case off of it (depending on the model) and peaked it.

My point is fleebay and paypal suck. Even a brand new radio can have issues and I'm not willing to take the chance on a used radio to save a few bucks. Same reason regardless of pricing I use the same place to supply all my CB needs. I have a history with them and they have a history of having great customer service.

meh.... Ill disagree with that every time. If I'm on a budget it is even more important that my money goes to things I know will work out of the box. Not to mention you had to pay an additional $30 to get it tuned wich you may not have needed if it was new and someone else may not have had it peaked to their set up.

You purchased a hand held used radio for what $50-75? Tack on another $30. Whats your total radio price peaked and tuned?
